Fluoride delivery device for water system
The fluoride tablet feeder device is a device for dissolution of fluoride tablets into a water stream. The device is specifically designed for the fluoride tablets disclosed and claimed by U.S. Pat. No. 10,485,738 titled Tablet for Fluoridating Potable Water, which is incorporated by reference. The crux of ideal dissolution of fluoride tablets in a flowing water supply is total immersion of the tablets, with water flowing around all tablet sides for even dissolution.
IMPROVED MIXER DUCT AND PROCESS OF OPERATION
A mixer duct for mixing of a turbulent flow includes an inlet, an outlet in fluid communication with the inlet, and at least one static mixer element located between the inlet and the outlet. The at least one static mixer element includes at least two at least substantially coplanar plate-like segments spaced apart by a substantially longitudinal gap. Each segment is attached to a duct wall and comprises at least two free edges, with one free edge being a leading edge and the other free edge adjacent to the longitudinal gap. The at least two segments are inclined relative to a duct axis so that their leading edge is oriented up-stream in the mixer duct and substantially perpendicular to a direction of a main fluid flow.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SPILLBACK CONTROL OF IN-LINE MIXING OF HYDROCARBON LIQUIDS
Methods and systems of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from two or more sets of tanks into a single pipeline to provide in-line mixing thereof. In an embodiment of the in-line mixing system, hydrocarbon liquids stored in at least one tank of each of two or more sets of tanks positioned at a tank farm are blended into a blend flow pipe via in-line mixing and the blended mixture is pumped through a single pipeline. In one or more embodiments, the in-line mixing system employs a separate spillback or recirculation loop that is fluidly connected to each set of the two or more sets of tanks to control the flow of the hydrocarbon fluid/liquid from each set of tanks to the blend flow pipe. Associated methods of operating one or more embodiments of the system include regulation of spillback or recirculation loop flow rate and/or pressure to drive the actual blend ratio towards a desired blend ratio.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR IN-LINE MIXING OF HYDROCARBON LIQUIDS
Methods and systems of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline thereof. The system may include two or more tanks positioned at a tank farm each containing a hydrocarbon liquid therein. The system may include two or more first main pipes, each connected to one of the tanks. The system may include two or more main valves, each connected to one of the first main pipes. The system may include two or more second main pipes each connected to a corresponding main valve. The system may include two or more mixing jumpers, each connected to a corresponding first main pipe, each mixing jumper to, when a corresponding main valve is closed, control hydrocarbon liquid. The system may include a mixing pipe, connected to the second main pipes and the mixing jumpers, configured to transport hydrocarbon liquid from one or more of the tanks.
Mixing device
The invention generally relates to a mixing device. In certain embodiments, devices of the invention include a fluidic inlet, a fluidic outlet, and a chamber, the chamber being configured to produce a plurality of fluidic vortexes within the chamber.
Method for in situ mixing of liquid compositions with offset liquid influx
Methods for in situ mixing of two or more different liquid compositions in a container by employing one or more liquid influxes that are offset by 1-50 from a longitudinal axis of such container.
Oil degumming systems
A system and method for degumming oil is used to increase oil yield and reduce impurities such as phosphorus. An oil feedstock, water and enzyme mixture is passed through a high shear mixing device prior to being fed to an agitated reactor equipped with a recirculation system. The recirculation system includes a second high shear mixing device that further mixes the oil mixture in the reactor during processing. The reacted mixture is discharged from the reactor to a downstream post-reaction system for separating the degummed oil from the reacted mixture. The separation step can be used to remove the phosphatides and other impurities from the reacted oil to form a purified oil product.
MIXER AND VAPORIZATION APPARATUS
A mixer is adapted to include: a flow path forming member formed with an internal flow path; and an insertion member inserted into the internal flow path, in which: the inner circumferential surface forming the internal flow path in the flow path forming member or the outer circumferential surface of the insertion member is formed with a first groove and a second groove merging with the first groove and branching from the first groove, and the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface are fitted to each other; and the first groove and the second groove are formed as a mixing flow path for, between the flow path forming member and the insertion member, branching and merging fluid flowing from one side of the internal flow path and guiding the fluid to the other side of the internal flow path.

Associated methods of operating one or more embodiments of the system include regulation of spillback or recirculation loop flow rate and/or pressure to drive the actual blend ratio towards a desired blend ratio.
Fluidic mixing device with quality monitoring sensor
The invention generally relates to a mixing device. In certain embodiments, devices of the invention include a fluidic inlet, a fluidic outlet, and a chamber, the chamber being configured to produce a plurality of fluidic vortexes within the chamber.
