Method for transportation and agitation of refinery solids waste
A method of transporting solid refinery waste includes loading solid refinery waste into a mobile tank having at least one sloped floor wall and a plurality of compartments separated by at least one buffer. The method may also include maintaining a head space between a top level of the solid refinery waste and a top wall of the mobile tank. The method may also include delivering the mobile tank to a burning facility that maintains a reserve of diluent and that is equipped with an agitator configured for lowering into the mobile tank through a manhole opening, to thereby permit the diluent to be conveyed into the headspace and mixed with the solid refinery waste, thereby enabling a resulting mixture to be off-loaded for burning at the burning facility.
ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR MIXING OF PARTICULATE FILLING INTO CONSUMER ICE MASS
An arrangement is disclosed for mixing of particulate filling material into a consumer ice mass. The arrangement includes a rotor cylinder having: a first rotor blade, a second rotor blade and a third rotor blade for the mixing-in of the consumer ice mass and the particulate filling material by rotation, wherein: the first rotor blade has a first notch configured to accommodate the second blade and the third blade, and a second notch configured to accommodate the front bearing, the second rotor blade has a first notch configured to accommodate the first rotor blade, a second notch configured to accommodate the third blade, and a third notch configured to accommodate the front bearing, and the third rotor blade has a first notch configured to accommodate the first rotor blade and the second rotor blade, and a second notch configured to accommodate the front bearing.
Method of removing and disposing of waste from a refinery ground tank including mixing at least one diluent with reduced-size solids to cause a flowable mixture
A method for disposing of solid refinery waste is disclosed. The method includes removing solid waste constituents from inside a refinery tank using excavating machinery, delumping the solid waste constituents, and conveying the delumped solid waste constituents into a mobile tank. The method further includes transporting the delumped solid waste constituents in the mobile tank to a burning facility, adding at least one diluent, mixing, and pumping from the mobile tank a flowable mixture of refinery waste and the at least one diluent at the burning facility.
STIRRING DEVICE AND STIRRING METHOD
A stirring device includes: a stirring tank that accommodates a fluid; a fluid blade that is rotated to make the fluid flow in the stirring tank; and a stirring blade that is provided between a bottom portion of the stirring tank and the fluid blade, is rotated to stir the fluid, and includes a substantially-plate-shaped blade portion that extends from a rotary shaft of the stirring blade to a side wall of the stirring tank, in which a normal direction of a stirring surface of the substantially-plate-shaped blade portion is inclined with respect to both an axial direction of the rotary shaft and a rotation direction of the blade portion, and a blade diameter of the substantially-plate-shaped blade portion in an extension direction is between about 50% and 70% of a tank diameter of the stirring tank.
