Liquid mixing system with vertically adjustable mixing element and method of use

A liquid mixing system includes a support housing at least partially bounding a compartment. A mount is secured to the support housing. A drive motor assembly is configured to engage a drive shaft for moving the drive shaft within the compartment of the support housing. A four bar linkage system extends between the mount and the drive motor assembly, the four bar linkage system being movable between a first position wherein the drive motor assembly is disposed at a first elevation and a second position wherein the drive motor assembly is disposed at a second elevation that is different from the first elevation.

Adhesive and sealant mixers with automatic stroke length adjustment

Mixers for adhesives and sealants that include automatic stroke length adjustment for different sizes and configurations of adhesive and sealant cartridges are disclosed. The mixers include a sensor for detecting when a mixing impeller reaches the top of a cartridge and the bottom of a cartridge, which sends a signal to a main pressure cylinder to reverse direction. The stroke length of the mixer is automatically adjusted without the necessity of manual selection based upon a particular cartridge size.

MIXING CONTAINER AND METHOD OF USE

A mixing container with an internal mixing blade has an extraction funnel, a main housing, a rotatable base cap, a mixing blade and a gear mechanism. The extraction funnel has a first end with a maximum diameter and narrowing to a second end of a minimum diameter at a neck portion. The main housing includes a mixing chamber. The rotatable base cap with an internal gear is attached to and is rotatable relative to the main housing. The mixing blade has a plurality of prongs extending from a shaft. The prongs are in the mixing chamber and the shaft extends through an opening in the main housing to inside the rotatable base cap. The gear mechanism has at least one gear, each of the at least one gears is connected to or intermeshed with the internal gear of the base cap and the gear of the shaft end.

Fluid mixing system

A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having a first end, an opposing second end, and an interior surface bounding a compartment. A first rotational assembly includes a first casing mounted to the first end of the flexible bag and a first hub rotatably mounted to the first casing. A second rotational assembly includes a second casing mounted to the second end of the flexible bag and a second hub rotatably mounted to the second casing. An elongated member has a first end coupled with the first hub and an opposing second end coupled with the second hub, the connector being flexible and having a uniform flexibility along its entire length. A first impeller is mounted to the connector.

Methods and Apparatus for Processing Fluids

A method for processing a fluid includes removably securing a retention member to a vessel that bounds a chamber; inserting a collapsible bag within the chamber of the vessel; securing the bag to the retention member so that the bag is supported within the chamber of the vessel; and dispensing a fluid into a compartment of the collapsible bag supported within the chamber of the vessel. The fluid can be mixed within bag while the bag is disposed within the vessel.
