Apparatus for treating fluids having improved aeration efficiency and operational durability
An apparatus for treating fluids having improved aeration efficiency and operational durability has an aerator, an impeller, and a liquid reservoir containing liquid to be treated. The aerator has: a motor rotating the impeller at a blade tip speed less than 1,100 inches/second; an air line having an outlet submerged in the liquid and an inlet adjacent to the motor; and a blower. The blower forces air through the air line to the air line outlet. The impeller two blades extending radially from the hub. Each blade has: a low drag, pressure equalized foil shape absent of rake; a leading edge extending from the hub tangentially; a 0.47-0.55 impeller EAR; 0.59-0.87 Pmean/D; progressive pitch distribution based on radius where from 50% R and out is constant and from 50% R to the hub is reduced; and 60-75 degree skew with a linear distribution from 50% radius to blade tip.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MIXING AND SUPPLYING PLASTIC INTO A MOLD FOR A VACUUM INFUSION
A method and device for mixing plastic from liquid components in a mixer (8) and conveying it through a line (10) into a mould (12), in particular for vacuum infusion, characterised in that the components are each pumped by means of a pump (24) from their own respective component container (22) into a mixer (8) and are mixed therein, that these volume flows are controlled by a controller (26) in such a manner that they supply the components to the mixer (8) in a specific ratio, that the pressure loss in the line (10), between a pressure sensor in one of the component supply lines (32) leading to the mixer (8) and the mould (12), is determined, and that the pressure is measured by the pressure sensor and supplied to a controller (26) which, taking into consideration the determined pressure loss, controls the volume flows such that the pumps (24) supply the components to the mixer (8) at a pressure that is greater than the ambient pressure or than another specific pressure that should not be exceeded in the mould (12) by at most the pressure loss.

MIXING ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A sacrificial mixing assembly for a container and a method of operating the same. The mixing assembly includes an alignment assembly and a paddle assembly. The alignment assembly includes an alignment dish having a geometric shape substantially similar to a base of the container and an alignment shaft projecting from the dish surface. The paddle assembly includes an elongate section for engaging with the alignment shaft and a plurality of blades projecting from the elongate section for mixing contents contained within the container. The mixing assembly is containable within the container and rotatable about the alignment shaft. The alignment dish is dimensioned to interface with the base of the container to reduce annular motion about the alignment shaft during rotation of the paddle assembly about the alignment shaft.

Dynamic mixer, automatic mixing unit and method of installing and driving a dynamic mixer
A dynamic mixer for mixing a multi-component material includes a mixing rotor capable of being rotated about an axis of rotation, the mixing rotor having a coupling socket configured at an end thereof. The coupling socket has a reception space configured to receive at least a part of a polygonal shaped coupling plug of a drive shaft to transfer torque from the drive shaft to the mixing rotor. The reception space has an inner length in the direction of the axis of rotation and has an inner surface extending over the inner length and surrounding the axis of rotation.
