MIXING DEVICE, MIXING HOPPER AND DOSING CONTAINER
Mixing device 1, dosing container and mixing hopper for mixing a synthetic starting material with an additive, in particular a granular additive or additive in powder form, comprising a mixing housing 10 with an inlet 14 for allowing the substances into a mixing chamber 12 bounded by the mixing housing and an outlet 16 for discharging the substances from the mixing chamber in mixed form, wherein a rotor body 11 is provided on a rotatable shaft 17 in the mixing chamber and comprises on a side a number of rotor arms 18 extending parallel to the shaft in the direction of an opposite wall of the mixing housing 10, and wherein the opposite wall of the mixing housing is provided with a number of stator arms 19 extending parallel to the shaft in the direction of the rotor body, and wherein a mixing hopper is provided having an infeed side for receiving a flow of the substances for mixing and an outfeed side which is in open communication with the inlet of the mixing housing 10, and wherein a dividing body is provided between the infeed side and outfeed side in order to divide the flow of the substances for mixing into a number of at least substantially equal part-flows.
Mixing apparatus for powder raw material and liquid raw material and method for manufacturing mixture using same
A mixing apparatus is provided that evenly mixes a powder raw material and a liquid raw material. The powder raw material is supplied to and spread out on a rotating disk to form a thin layer of dispersed particle swarms close to the periphery of the rotating disk. A rotary atomizer that synchronously rotates on the same axis is provided above the rotating disk. The liquid raw material is supplied to an inside surface of the rotary atomizer. Then, the liquid raw material is conducted to an atomizing head where the liquid raw material is atomized, and droplet swarms are horizontally radiated. The dispersed particle swarms and the droplet swarms are merged and condensed within a tapered wedge-shaped space, with the result that these swarms change into a fine and homogeneous mixture. The mixture is then radiated from the periphery.
MULTI-PURPOSE REACTOR AND PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF MODIFIED BITUMEN
A reactor is provided for the preparation of modified bitumen, which reactor comprises a horizontal housing comprising a cylindrical wall and two side walls, wherein a bitumen inlet has been provided at or near one of the side walls of the housing and a bitumen product outlet has been provided at or near the opposite side wall of the housing, wherein a plurality of inlets for the provision of oxygen-containing gas has been provided in the cylindrical wall of the housing between the bitumen inlet and the bitumen product outlet, which multi-purpose reactor is further provided with a mixer arranged inside the housing comprising at least one rotor rotating within at least one stator having a plurality of openings. The reaction is used to prepare modified bitumen by contacting bitumen in the reactor with a modified elevated temperature and pressure.
SLURRY MIXER GATE HAVING ENHANCED EXTRACTOR PORTS
A discharge gate is provided for delivering a mixed slurry from a gypsum slurry mixer, and includes a first extractor port configured for generating a first density slurry for a first gypsum layer, and a second extractor port configured for generating a second density slurry for a second gypsum layer. A channel is defined by a front panel and a side panel of the discharge gate for delivering the first and second density slurries from the slurry mixer. The first extractor port extends semi-tangentially from the front panel of the discharge gate, and is connected in fluid communication with the front panel via the channel and a first slurry passageway disposed within the first extractor port for delivering the first density slurry.
DISPERSING UNIT
A dispersing unit for dispersing a feed material in a dispersant, including a stationary dispersing basket, the lateral surface of which has outlet openings and one end of which is preferably at least partly closed and into which a shaft stub of a drive shaft protrudes, wherein, within the dispersing basket, the shaft stub bears a dispersing disk, which rotates during operation and thereby sucks feed-material-laden dispersant into the region between the dispersing disk and the closed end of the dispersing basket and discharges the feed-material-laden dispersant from said region largely via the outlet openings in the lateral surface of the dispersing basket

Method for feeding solid material to a mixing device, solid-material feeding device and mixing assembly
The invention relates to improvements in the technical field of feeding solid materials to mixing devices. For this purpose, the solid-material feeding device, inter alia, is proposed. The solid-material feeding device comprises the slide, which can be moved between a first end position and a second end position through a conveying connection, which is arranged between a funnel and a solid-material outlet of the solid-material feeding device. By means of the slide, adhesions within the conveying connection can be loosened without having to remove the conveying connection.
