Female Catheter Assembly
A female catheter assembly for a discrete and comfortable solution to female urinary incontinence includes a collection unit having a partially cylindrical collection area and an inner band coupled around a perimeter of the collection area. The collection area is configured to cover from above a user's vagina to a user's perineum. A cover extends from a right side, a top side, and a left side of the inner band and an outer band is coupled to a perimeter of the cover. An inner surface of the collection unit has an adhesive coupled from the inner band to the outer band. The collection area has a drain aperture adjacent a bottom side. A hose extends from a drain port coupled to the drain aperture to a collection bag. A release tube is coupled to a lower aperture of the collection bag and a clamp is selectively engageable with the release tube.
SOFT SEAL BOTTLE BAND
A band of stretchable material has dimensions suitable to be stretched over the neck of a urinal bottle. The neck has exposed edges that can come into contact with a user's hand, arms, male member, and/or any other portions of a user's anatomy, and the band is sized so that it covers those edges of the bottle neck. The band has a length and a diameter, and that diameter is smaller than the diameter of the neck in a urinal bottle. That way, when stretched over the neck, the bank will cover the edges of the neck of the bottle. In use, the band will also cover at least some portion of the opening in the neck of the urinal bottle.
Methods of manufacture of containers, pre-containers, blanks for containers and containers for retaining fluids
A method of producing a container for retaining fluid, the method comprises the steps of: providing a blank which, when assembled, forms a container; folding the blank along one or more fold lines across the blank's width to form a substantially rectangular side wall such that first and second ends of the substantially rectangular side wall are brought into close proximity; sealing the first and second ends of the substantially rectangular side wall to one another; deforming one or more deformable portions which span across the one or more fold lines such that the deformable portions are disposed inwardly in order to force the remainder of the side wall outwards to create an opening within the blank; and sealing a base around the circumference of a first edge of the side wall.
DEVICE FOR THE DISCHARGE OF URINE
Devices for the discharge of bodily waste, in particular for the soiling-free discharge of bodily waste from a person situated on a bed or a seat. A bed's mattress (2) is provided with a slot (4) that may be opened and closed, and which extends continuously through the thickness of the mattress (2). The slot is controllably openable and closable via an actuated mechanism. Hygienic elimination of bodily waste while lying down or sitting may be achieved with little effort.
POUCH COMPRISING A SAFETY VALVE AND A DETACHABLE SAMPLE HOLDER
A pouch comprises a flexible bag having an opening at one end, and a safety valve arranged inside the bag to substantially prevent the content of the bag leaving through the opening. The valve comprises a first pair of sheets and a second pair of sheets that are bonded together locally at a plurality of spaced-apart primary bonding points, and a third pair of sheets, the first, second, and third pairs of sheets being bonded together locally at a plurality of spaced-apart secondary bonding points. The distance between the primary bonding points and the distal end of the sheets of the second pair of sheets varies along a transverse axis (Dt) of the bag. A further transfer valve permits a portion of the urine to be transferred to a separate detachable pouch, which may then be transported, for example for diagnostic purposes.
Portable urinal mounting assembly
A portable urinal mounting assembly selectively connectable to a walker having a pair of side support assemblies including upper and lower support braces. The mounting assembly comprises an body sleeve adapted to receive a portable urinal. Front left and right straps and rear left and right straps are attached to the body sleeve. Each of the front and rear left and right straps have an end portion including an attachment device. The end portions of the straps are arranged and designed to be removably secured to the upper and lower support braces of the pair of side support assemblies.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR RECEIVING DISCHARGED URINE
A system suitable for collecting and transporting urine away from the body of a person or animal may include an assembly having a fluid impermeable casing having a fluid reservoir at a first end, a fluid outlet at a second end, and a longitudinally extending fluid impermeable layer coupled to the fluid reservoir and the fluid outlet and defining a longitudinally elongated opening between the reservoir and the outlet. The assembly can further include a fluid permeable support disposed within the casing with a portion extending across the elongated opening, and a fluid permeable membrane disposed on the support and covering at least the portion of the support that extends across the elongated opening, so that the membrane is supported on the support and disposed across the elongated opening. The assembly can further include a tube having a first end disposed in the reservoir and a second, fluid discharge end.
Cleaner Smaller Bathrooms
A retractable, height-adjustable urinal requiring no water that can be enclosed into a separate closed compartment for cleaning/disinfecting along with a waterless toilet that packages and disposes of solid waste, in a smaller place.
Urine bottle
A disposable urine bottle, having a front end for presentation to a user comprises a base wall, an enclosing wall extending upwardly from the base wall, a urine receiving volume defined by the base wall and the enclosing wall, and an aperture located above the base wall and which is upwardly and forwardly concave when viewed from the side. The lowermost portion of the aperture is also parallel to the base wall. The enclosing wall has a portion which overhangs the base wall at the front end of the bottle. The aperture is elongate in plan view and the enclosing wall extends outwardly from the sides and front end of the aperture. The maximum width of the aperture is at least half the maximum width of the base wall, and the enclosing wall is formed into a handle portion at one end of the bottle.
Contoured Urinal Assembly
A contoured urinal assembly for enhancing comfort for a user during urine collection includes a bottle that has an angled neck to facilitate a user to insert the user's penis into the angled neck for urine collection. A handle is coupled to the bottle for gripping. A ring extends around the bottle and the ring is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to enhance comfort for the user. A saddle is coupled to the ring. The penis is positioned on the saddle to inhibit the penis from being abraded. Additionally, the saddle extends into the bottle to direct the penis into the bottle for urine collection.
