BIOPROCESS VESSELS WITH INTEGRATED PUMP
A bioprocess vessel includes a flexible bag or substantially rigid container that defines an interior volume and having a bottom surface, the bottom surface being open or containing an aperture therein for the passage of fluid. A pump is secured to the bottom surface of the flexible bag or substantially rigid container. In some embodiments is secured directly to the flexible bag or substantially rigid container. In other embodiments, the pump is secured indirectly the flexible bag or substantially rigid container using, for example, a port that extends through the aperture on the bottom surface. The port or flanged surface may also be integrated into the pump, which is secured to the vessel. An optional mixing adaptor may be provided inside the interior volume of the flexible bag or substantially rigid container and at least partially covers the inlet that leads to the pump.

AUTOMATED BREAD-MAKING SYSTEM
An automated production system is disclosed herein. One aspect of the present technology, for example, is directed toward an automated system for the continuous production of baked bread. The system can include a priming assembly having a dry ingredients priming unit and a wet ingredients priming unit. The dry ingredients priming unit can include a vertically-oriented hopper and a screw positioned within an interior region of the hopper, wherein the first screw extends along the central longitudinal axis of the hopper and is configured to rotate about its own central longitudinal axis. The system can also include a mixing assembly, a forming assembly, an oven, and a controller. The controller can be coupled to the priming assembly and configured to adjust the amount of dry ingredients delivered from the hopper to the mixing chamber by controlling rotation of the screw.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR CONTINUOUS ADSORPTION
The invention relates to an apparatus for the continuous production of a particulate adsorption product, the apparatus comprising: a mixing drum having an elongated cavity for receiving a particulate adsorbent material, an adsorbent inlet and a product outlet, wherein the mixing drum is arranged such that the cavity is inclined in flow direction of the particulate material, and wherein the cavity comprises an initial transport zone adjacent to the inlet and a mixing zone following the initial transport zone; a rotating member extending through the cavity in a longitudinal direction, wherein the rotating member comprises a helical conveying blade at longitudinal positions corresponding to the initial transport zone and mixing instruments at longitudinal positions corresponding to the mixing zone; and one or more injection nozzles for injecting a liquid adsorbate to the mixing zone. The invention further relates to a process for the continuous production of a particulate adsorption product using such apparatus.

Device for mixing powders by cryogenic fluid
A device for mixing powders by cryogenic fluid, characterised in that it comprises at least: a chamber for mixing powders, comprising a cryogenic fluid; a chamber for supplying powders in order to allow the powders to be introduced into the mixing chamber; means for agitation in the mixing chamber so as to allow the mixing of the powders placed in suspension in the cryogenic fluid.
INCLINABLE MIXER
An inclinable mixer for mixing bulk material is provided herein. The inclined mixer comprises a mixing chamber which comprises a longitudinal trough defined by a first and second side wall oppositely opposed, the trough having a front end opposite a back end, a discharge opening positional substantially in the bottom of the chamber toward the back end, and a front wall spanning the front end of the trough. The mixer also comprises an auger situated longitudinally in the trough for mixing bulk material, and a driving device for rotating the auger when a driving force is applied, wherein the mixing chamber is inclined at least during mixing such that the back end is raised relative the front end.
Flexible film in single use bioreactor
A container, such as a disposable or single use bioreactor, optionally having one or more inlets and one or more outlets and a mixer associated with the container to cause mixing, dispersing, homogenizing and/or circulation of one or more ingredients contained or added to the container. The container includes a flexible baffle shaped and positioned within the container to improve mixing, particularly to improve low shear mixing. The baffle is positioned within the container so as to disrupt the vortex formed by the mixer, or prevent formation of a vortex. The baffle is shaped with both horizontal and vertical elements to enhance disruption of the vortex across the entire vessel height and provide homogeneous mixing throughout all operating volumes. In certain embodiments, the baffle is X-shaped.
