HUMAN WASTE CAPTURING DEVICE
A human waste capturing device for hygienic management of bodily waste of a bedbound user includes a bedpan, which is operationally and fluidically couplable to cleaning and waste management modules. The bedpan is partially positionable under buttocks of a user who is bedbound so that a receptacle of the bedpan can receive bodily waste from the user. The cleaning module then selectively directs water and air onto genitals, a perineum, and an anus of the user for rinsing and drying, respectively. The waste management module connects to an air mover so that the bodily waste is urged by passage of air from the bedpan to the waste management module. The waste management module separates the bodily waste from the air so that the bodily waste is segregated for disposal as the air passes through the waste management module to the air mover.

Hygienic wand for toileting applications
An apparatus for toileting applications can include a handle having a grip end and an opposed clamp end that are spaced along a first axis. A clamp can be coupled to the clamp end of the handle. The clamp can have opposed gripping elements that are elongate along a longitudinal axis. The opposed gripping elements can be configured move toward and away from each other along a clamping axis. The opposed gripping elements can cooperate to define an application surface. The application surface can have a concavity in a direction away from the handle. An actuator can be configured to move the opposed gripping elements toward and away from each other.

BED PAN CLEANING SHIELD
A shield device for a bed pan during cleaning using a pivoting water fixture having an arm and a head includes a shield member. The head of a water fixture is received in an aperture through the shield and the arm of the fixture resides in a channel disposed in the shield. The shield is connected to the arm and head of the water fixture. Clamps secure the arm in the channel and, as a result, the head in the aperture so the shield moves with pivoting movement of the water fixture. When the water fixture is in a downward cleaning position and with the water flowing from the fixture, the shield member is positioned over the head of the water fixture to prevent upward splashing of water and debris up from the bed pan toward a person cleaning the bed pan using the water fixture.
