Self-Cleaning Tank
A tank, such as a fermentation tank, includes a scraper blade assembly slideably coupled to a bottom surface of the tank. The scraper blade assembly includes a blade arranged to displace solids deposited on the bottom surface of the tank out through an aperture arranged flush with the bottom surface of the tank.
Blender interlock
A base of a food processing system (20) includes at least one attachment (30) selectively receivable by a base (22). The base (22) includes an attachment mounting area (42) disposed with the base (22) to selectively receive the attachment (30). The attachment mounting area (42) includes a drive coupler (26) for applying a pull down force to the attachment (30). A motor is disposed with the base (22). A motor activation assembly (70) is associated with the attachment mounting area (42) and the motor. The motor is rendered operable via a vertical force applied to the motor activation assembly (70) when the attachment mounting area (42) receives the attachment (30).

Blending volume reducing device
A blending system is disclosed herein. The blending system may comprise a blender base, a container and a blending volume reducing device. The blending volume reducing device may be removably inserted into the container of the blender system at various positions. The positions may alter the working volume of the container when the blending volume reducing device is inserted in the container.
PLASTIC PROCESSING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS
Provided is a method of processing a plastic, the method comprising introducing a plastic slurry having particles with a particle size of less than 20 mm into a macerator, the macerator comprising an inlet configured to receive a flow of plastic slurry, an outlet, three or more concentric bodies that rotate relative to each other, each body comprising a plurality of apertures to define a flow path through each body, wherein the plastic slurry traverses the flow path from the inlet to the outlet via the at least one aperture of each body to produce an outlet plastic slurry. Also provided are systems for processing plastic, comprising the macerator. Also provided are methods of manufacturing a composite wood product that comprises plastic particles.
