The stirrer is configured to stir molten glass in a stirring vessel by causing the plurality of stirring blades to turn about the shaft in association with rotation of the shaft. The plurality of stirring blades (blade bodies) each have a through opening and a distal end portion extending along the longitudinal direction of the shaft. The plurality of stirring blades are mounted on the shaft so that, when the plurality of stirring blades turn about the shaft, the stirring blades that are closer to one end side of the shaft are delayed in phase around the shaft with respect to the stirring blades on another end side of the shaft.

A liquid stirring apparatus 100 includes a first rotating blade 110 and a second rotating blade 130 connected to a liquid discharge device 101 including a submersible pump. The first rotating blade 110 and the second rotating blade 130 include arm tubes 114 and 134 respectively extending radially outward of a first base tube 111 and a second base tube 131, and include arm tubes 115 and 135 respectively extending radially outward from intermediate tubes 113 and 133. The arm tubes 114 and 134 and the arm tubes 115 and 135 are connected to each other by connecting bodies 116 and 136 so that liquid WK can flow therethrough. The connecting bodies 116 and 136 are attached with flat plate-shaped stirring plates 117 and 137 that extend radially outward of the connecting bodies 116 and 136.

Rotation of the paddle portion serves to facilitate mixing and agitating of the materials, and downward movement of the plunger portion serves to facilitate dispensing of the materials from the manual mixer.

A multi-phase cosmetic composition mixing pack for mixing immiscible components of a multi-phase cosmetic composition such that they are temporarily miscible includes a container for holding the multi-phase cosmetic composition that has a first open end and a container longitudinal axis, and a mixing element disposed within the container and configured to be actuated for mixing immiscible components of the multi-phase cosmetic composition such that they are temporarily miscible, wherein the mixing element is limited to movement substantially along the container longitudinal axis when actuated.
