In a reaction apparatus, a kiln part includes a supply port configured to receive a raw material supplied to one end side thereof, a discharge port configured to discharge a reaction product to another end side thereof, a cylindrical par extending along and rotatable around a central axis thereof, and a baffle plate provided so as to extend from an inner wall of the cylindrical part and pass through a central area of the cylindrical part including the central axis thereof. A driving part rotates the kiln part around the central axis. A heating part heats an outer peripheral part of the kiln part. The kiln part is configured so that a received predetermined raw material is conveyed to the discharge port along the central axis while being in contact with the baffle plate.

A mixing machine for continuously mixing powder material in a liquid flow, including a mixing body including: a mixing section in which a rotor is rotatably mounted, a liquid inlet section located above the mixing section, and a powder inlet section located above the liquid inlet section The powder inlet section is movable between a closed position and an open position, such that in the closed position the powder inlet section closes an upper edge of the liquid inlet section, and in the open position the powder inlet section is detached from the upper edge of the liquid inlet section.

Hot (or warm) mix asphalt plants capability of producing up to 100 percent RAP (or ARS) recycled asphalt mixes
09566557 · 2017-02-14 ·

A hot mix asphalt (HMA) or warm mix asphalt (WMA) plant features material transfer by shear action of segmented screws and directional flights standing on an inner drum. Indirect convective material heating is initiated by a heating source located inside of the inner drum. Material mixing, heating, melting, and uniform coating, all take place as a single simultaneous process. As the result of processing, regular HMA (or WMA) or up to 100% RAP (or ARS) recycled HMA (or WMA) can be produced. Many heat sources, such as a conventional oil burner and the surface combustion burner, may also be utilized in the plant. The plant may be combined with paving units for an integrated, mobile paving system.

Cyclonic flow-inducing pump

Disclosed cyclonic flow-inducing pumps overcome drawbacks associated with known adverse flow conditions that arise from flow of certain types of materials through a material flow conduit. Such cyclonic flow-inducing pumps provide for flow of flowable material within a flow passage of a material flow conduit (e.g., a portion of a pipeline, tubing or the like) to have a cyclonic flow (i.e., vortex or swirling) profile. Advantageously, the cyclonic flow profile centralizes flow toward the central portion of the flow passage, thereby reducing magnitude of laminar flow. Such cyclonic flow profile provides a variety of other advantages as compared to a parabolic flow profile such as, for example, increased flow rate, reduce inner pipeline wear, more uniform inner pipe wear, reduction in energy consumption, reduced or eliminated adverse considerations such as slugging.

Drum for processing mixed solid waste

A rotatable drum system includes a frame and a drum rotationally supported thereon. Paddles in an interior of the drum are angularly offset from the longitudinal axis. An eccentric opening offset from the longitudinal axis forms the egress. Mixed solid waste agitated by the paddles while in the drum. Trunnions may support the drum. An actuator may be pivotable with an upper frame relative to a lower frame and the actuator can cause drum rotation irrespective of a position of the upper frame relative to the lower frame. A trunnion assembly with a rocker pivotally coupled to a base thereof via a first axle, enables the rocker to be pivotable relative to the base about the first axle. A second axle may be rotationally coupled to the rocker. A roller may be rotationally coupled to the rocker via the second axle, and configured to support a rotating load.
