Roasting drum of roaster
A roasting drum has a main body and at least one opening formed through the main body. The main body has a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and multiple drums. The multiple drums are mounted around one another in sequence, are fastened to one another, and communicate with one another. Each one of the multiple drums has a blending blade formed on an inner surface of the drum. The blending blade is spiral and extends from the first end toward the second end. The blending blade of one of the multiple drums twists along a clockwise direction from the first end toward the second end. The blending blade of another one of the multiple drums that is mounted around the drum twists along a counter-clockwise direction from the first end toward the second end.

The assembly also includes a vacuum pump 150 powered by an electrical motor 160, a particle filter 200 to filter out particles upstream of the vacuum pump and a drum arrangement which includes a collector drum 170 configured to rotate about an axis to mix its contents to form a slurry and it discharge the contents when in the discharge position.
MIXING AND PROCESSING APPARATUS
A rotating drum apparatus for the mixing and processing of materials, the rotating drum apparatus comprising: a rotating drum (12) arranged with the length of the drum and the axis of rotation of the drum extending along the horizontal; an inlet at a first point on the drum (12) for receiving materials prior to mixing and/or processing; a screw (14) within the drum (12) for mixing the materials whilst conveying them lengthwise along the drum (12), wherein the screw (14) includes a helical blade extending along the length of the drum (12) with the outer edge of the helical blade being fixed to the inner surface of the drum (12) such that material can be conveyed and mixed in separated volumes (16) between each turn of the screw blade (14); an outlet at a second point along the drum for discharge of materials after mixing and/or processing; and a plurality mixing devices (18) for promoting mixing of the material in each of the separated volumes (16) of material as the material is conveyed along the screw (14), wherein the plurality of mixing devices (18) are spaced apart along the blade of the screw (14), and wherein there is at least one mixing device (18) for each turn of the screw blade (14).
BLENDING APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURED WOOD PROCESSING
An improved blending apparatus for manufactured wood products with a rotating blending drum or cylinder with a pattern of alternating flights of different configurations extending from the interior of the drum. The flights lift the strands as the drum rotates to different heights before the strands free-fall back to the bottom of the drum. One flight is shorter, and may be trapezoidal in cross-section. The second flight is taller, and may have a bull-nose configuration with substantially vertical sides. During operation, the design of the bull-nose flight tends to hold more strands and to carry them closer to the top of the drum before the strands drop and fall. In contrast, the shorter height and angled sides of the trapezoidal flight tends to hold fewer strands and to not carry them as high along the side before strands drop and fall. The alternating pattern causes a more consistent and dispersed fall of strands as the drum rotates, resulting in a significantly larger and more consistent amount of the sprayed adhesives and waxes being applied to the strands, and not passing through gaps to build up on the drum wall.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BLENDING MATERIALS
A flight assembly comprising a flight with a curved outer edge portion and a support supporting the flight at an acute angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the flight assembly, wherein the curved outer edge portion when rotated about the longitudinal axis describes a cylinder. The flight assembly is configured to cooperate in a system for blending flowable solid materials, comprising a cylindrical drum body, a drum roller apparatus arranged support and rotate the cylindrical drum body at an angle of inclination and a flight assembly as previously described. Associated methods are also disclosed.
Bucket mixer insert
Apparatuses and methods based thereon are provided for mixing utilizing mixer inserts. A mixer insert may comprise an enclosing component adapted for application to an opening in a container to which the mixer insert is applied, to enclose a space in the container. The mixer insert may further comprise one or more mixing components, adapted to fit within the enclosed space when the enclosing component is applied to the opening in the container, with the one or more mixing components being configured to mix material placed within the enclosed space when the combination of the container and the mixer insert is subject to particular force or movement.
BLENDING APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURED WOOD PROCESSING
An improved blending apparatus for blending of wood strands in the manufacture of engineered wood products. The blending process is performed with a rotating blending drum with an internal offset spike/paddle roll. The spike/paddle roll is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the drum, extends for some, all, or substantially all of the length of the drum, may rotate in either direction, and can rotate independently of or in conjunction with the rotation of the drum. The roll has a central cylinder or rod with a number of paddles, spikes, and/or tines, separately or in combinations, extending from the exterior. The paddles, spikes, and/or tines may extend at various angles and directions, including, but not limited to, substantially right angles. The paddles, spikes, and/or tines may be made of any suitable materials, including, and may be made of different materials. The rod may be driven by an external or internal motor or drive, or powered by the rotation of the drum itself.
