Agitating a plurality of fluid packages in a tower. The housing tower may include a stationary tower as well as an agitation device. The agitation device may include an agitation chassis assembly and an agitation rack tower. The plurality of fluid packages may be received at the agitation rack tower. Once received, the plurality of fluid packages may be connected to a pump assembly, wherein the pump assembly is located at the agitation chassis assembly. In addition, the agitation rack tower may be agitated relative to the agitation chassis assembly about a pivot point located on the agitation rack tower.

MIXING AND THAWING DEVICE

A mixing and thawing device (1) has a rocker drive (2) and a bag holder (3) for holding a bag (7). The bag holder (3) has a base part (8) and a lid part (9) that enclose a holding space (10) for the bag (7). A heating element (11) is arranged in the base part (8). Thus, the holding space (10) is designed as a heat-insulating closed chamber. Interconnected intermediate spaces (14, 15) are arranged between the bag (7) and the base part (8) and between the bag (7) and the lid part (9). One or more flow generators (16) are provided to generate a circulating fluid flow (17).

A container restraint assembly includes a base that may have a container positioned thereon. A stop is coupled to the base and the stop may engage the container. A retainer is movably coupled to the base wherein the retainer may be manipulated by a user. The retainer is positionable in an engaging position to compress the container against the stop. Thus, contents of the container may be mixed without the container tipping over. The retainer is positionable in a releasing position to allow the container to be removed from the base.

A modular barrel storage and mixing system. Each module is designed to hold a 600 lb barrel, and the modules may be stacked up to 3 units high, with interlocking components for stability. Agitation of each barrel is controlled pneumatically, using a pressure regulator and drier, an emergency cutoff control valve, a pneumatic variable timer, a 3-way directional control valve, a limit switch and a pneumatic cylinder.

A mixing apparatus containing a drive unit having a drive and a shaft that is pivotable about a pivot axis and is operatively connected to the drive. A pivotable receptacle is arranged on the shaft, where the pivot axis is oriented essentially horizontally, and the pivotable receptacle has a base plate and at least one retainer spaced therefrom, and the pivotable receptacle is configured in such a way that holders for containers can be inserted between the base plate and the at least one retainer in the direction of the pivot axis.

A laboratory shaker is provided having a shaker platform and a shaker mechanism operatively connected to the shaker platform. The shaker mechanism is configured to oscillate the shaker platform and at least one liquid-containing vessel supported on the platform. A spill tray is located beneath the shaker platform that has at least one aperture extending through the spill tray. The at least one aperture is configured to permit the operative connection of the shaker mechanism to the shaker platform through the aperture, wherein the spill tray is configured to contain spilled liquid from the at least one liquid-containing vessel.
