System and method for self releasing champagne cork with electromechanical release mechanism
11807424 · 2023-11-07 ·

A system and method for easily operated self-releasing stopper/cork for bottles of compressed liquids. The corks have a gas bladder that is designed to be inserted in a bottle and inflated, the bladder having a ribbed or smooth exterior to complete the sealing of the bottle whereby a gas release mechanism can be activated by depressing a button on a cap or via an on-board micro controller and/or electro-mechanical release solution in the cap. Once the gas is released from the bladder the pressure inside the vessel will collapse the bladder's bottom and eject the cork assembly from the bottle.

Laboratory Instrument Comprising a Fixing Mechanism for Fixing a Slide

A laboratory instrument for fixing an object carrier, the instrument including a main component for receiving an object carrier, a positioning fixture for application to a first edge region of the object carrier, a second positioning fixture for application to a second edge region of the object carrier, a fixing mechanism for fixing the object carrier on the main component between the first positioning fixture and the second positioning fixture by moving at least the first positioning fixture, and an actuating device for actuating the fixing mechanism for transposing at least the first positioning fixture between an operational state and an operational state which releases the object carrier, wherein the fixing mechanism includes at least one guide body which can be guided in at least one guide recess.

An apparatus configured for mixing the contents of one or more fluid containers includes a fluid container support platform configured to hold one or more fluid containers. The fluid container support platform is configured to index the container to one or more specified locations and to be moved in an orbital path about an orbital center independently of the rotation about the central axis of rotation. The apparatus further includes an indexing drive system configured to effect indexing movement of the container support platform and a vortex drive system configured to effect powered orbital movement of the container support platform about the orbital center. An evaporation limiting insert placed within containers reduces exposure of the fluid contents of the container to atmospheric air, thereby reducing susceptibility of the fluid contents to evaporation.

LABORATORY SHAKER WITH SPILL CONTROL
20220111340 · 2022-04-14 ·

A laboratory shaker is provided having a shaker platform and a shaker mechanism operatively connected to the shaker platform. The shaker mechanism is configured to oscillate the shaker platform and at least one liquid-containing vessel supported on the platform. A spill tray is located beneath the shaker platform that has at least one aperture extending through the spill tray. The at least one aperture is configured to permit the operative connection of the shaker mechanism to the shaker platform through the aperture, wherein the spill tray is configured to contain spilled liquid from the at least one liquid-containing vessel.

PROCESS OF ROTATIONALLY MIXING A LIQUID COMPOSITION THAT INCLUDES A CONSUMER PRODUCT ADJUNCT INGREDIENT

Processes related to rotationally mixing a liquid composition that includes a consumer product adjunct ingredient, for example by subjecting the composition to multiple rotation cycles that include horizontally rotating the composition in a first direction and in a second direction that is counter to the first direction. Related systems and apparatuses. Processes for making consumer products from compositions thusly mixed.

MIXING APPARATUS, MIXING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MIXING SUBSTANCES IN CLOSED CONTAINERS

A mixing apparatus containing a drive unit having a drive and a shaft that is pivotable about a pivot axis and is operatively connected to the drive. A pivotable receptacle is arranged on the shaft, where the pivot axis is oriented essentially horizontally, and the pivotable receptacle has a base plate and at least one retainer spaced therefrom, and the pivotable receptacle is configured in such a way that holders for containers can be inserted between the base plate and the at least one retainer in the direction of the pivot axis.
