A microtiter plate mixing control system is disclosed. The system includes a frame, a suspension system attached to the frame, and a magnetically responsive horizontal platform supported on the frame by the suspension system. A solenoid is adjacent the platform for moving the platform on the suspension system. A proximity sensor is adjacent the platform for determining the position of the platform with respect to the frame. A controller is in communication with the proximity sensor and the solenoid for driving the solenoid and moving the platform in response to the proximity sensor.

The present application is directed towards systems for adding components to materials being fluidized in a vibratory mixer by use of atomizers or sprayers. A mechanical system can fluidizes, mix, coat, dry, combine, or segregate materials. The system may comprise a vibratory mixer, mixing vessel containing a first material and a sprayer to introduce a second material. The vibratory mixer may generate a fluidized bed of a first material and the sprayer, coupled to the mixing vessel, may introduce a second material onto the fluidized bed to mix the materials in a uniform and even fashion.

Provided is a washer liquid supply system in a simple structure and capable of improving the capacity of washing an object of a vehicle. A washer liquid supply system includes: a washer tank mounted on a vehicle to store washer liquid; a supply section mounted on the vehicle to supply the washer liquid in the washer tank to a window shield of the vehicle; and a connecting member being a bubbling section mounted on the vehicle to make the washer liquid contain bubbles, wherein the supply section supplies the washer liquid containing the bubbles to the window shield.

A method or mixing magnetic particles with a liquid medium in a reaction chamber is provided, comprising providing an external magnetic field to the reaction chamber causing the magnetic particles to move, such as swirl or oscillate, etc., substantially on a plane crossing the reaction chamber; and simultaneously controlling the magnetic particles to have a relative reciprocating movement at a non-zero angle to the plane. The magnetic field can be provided by rotating or reciprocating a magnet or electromagnet array around the reaction chamber, or by coordinately activating at least two electromagnets in an electromagnet array. The relative reciprocating movement of the magnetic particles can be realized by moving the reaction chamber or the magnet array, or by alternately activating another magnetic field provided by another electromagnet array. An apparatus applying the method is further provided. The technology can be applied widely and has the potential for realizing true automation.

Shaking adapter for a power tool

The adapter connects an aerosol or similarly shaped can to a power tool for the purpose of mixing the contents within the can. The adapter preferably connects a reciprocating power tool, such as a reciprocating saw, to a spray paint can that is necessarily shaken before use. To secure the can to the power tool, the adapter has multiple fingers that grasp the end of an aerosol can with respective tabs. The tabs catch on a ring on the topside of the spray paint can to prevent it from breaking away from the reciprocating tool during operation. To secure the adapter to the can, a collar surrounds the fingers and tightens around the fingers to securely fasten them to the can. Accordingly, the can is held in place until the collar is released and the tabbed fingers can be pulled away from the can.

A method, apparatus, and system for mixing a compounded material. A first selected amount of a base part for the compounded material and a second selected amount of an activator part for the compounded material to form a total amount of the compounded material is determined. The first selected amount of the base part is pumped by a pump system from a set of base part sources connected to the pump system into a container. The second selected amount of the activator part is pumped by the pump system from a set of activator part sources connected to the pump system into a container. The base part and the activator part in the container are mixed by a mixing system for a predetermined amount of time that is sufficient to activate the compounded material for use.

A cosmetics mixing device for homogenizing suspensions of cosmetics includes a housing that defines an interior space. The housing is open-topped, and a block is positioned in the interior space. A plurality of recesses extends into the block from an upper face of the block. Each recess extends from proximate to a first endpoint to proximate to a second endpoint of the block. Each of a plurality of couplers is coupled to the block and is positioned in a respective recess. The coupler is configured to couple to a respective tubular container to retain the respective tubular container within the respective recess. A shaking module that is coupled to the housing and positioned in the interior space is operationally coupled to the block. The shaking module is positioned to shake the block to mix a cosmetic that is positioned in the respective tubular container.

The present disclosure relates to a method of creating a propellant mixture. The method includes forming an explosive composition mixture, placing the explosive composition mixture into a mixing vessel assembly, and operating an acoustic mixing system at an operating frequency such that the acoustic mixing system causes a vertical displacement of the mixing vessel. The explosive composition mixture has an explosive material, and one or more additives. The mixing vessel assembly has a closed mixing zone having a maximum vertical height. The acoustic mixing system is operated in a manner such that the operating frequency is substantially similar to the resonant frequency and a ratio of the maximum vertical height of the closed mixing zone to the vertical displacement of the mixing vessel assembly is 2.0 or less.
