A plurality of recesses extends into the block from an upper face of the block. Each recess extends from proximate to a first endpoint to proximate to a second endpoint of the block. Each of a plurality of couplers is coupled to the block and is positioned in a respective recess. The coupler is configured to couple to a respective tubular container to retain the respective tubular container within the respective recess. A shaking module that is coupled to the housing and positioned in the interior space is operationally coupled to the block. The shaking module is positioned to shake the block to mix a cosmetic that is positioned in the respective tubular container.

An automated transfer and mixing device receives an injection device, a lyophilized drug vial and a diluent vial and transfers diluent from the diluent vial to the lyophilized drug vial and shakes or vibrates the lyophilized drug vial to reconstitute the drug. The device then transfers the reconstituted drug from the lyophilized drug vial to the injection device.

Samples in an array of containers are processed by mounting the containers on a sample stage, moving magnets into proximity with bottoms of the containers of a first column of containers to apply a magnetic field, moving the magnets into proximity with bottoms of the containers of a second column, and moving heater elements into proximity with the container bottoms of the first column. While the magnetic field is applied to the containers of the second column, heat energy may be applied to the containers of the first column. The process may be repeated for additional columns. The containers may also be shaken to agitate the samples. A single apparatus may perform heating, shaking, and magnetic field application, without needing to transport the containers to different stations.

A horizontal shaking type automatic cooker includes five parts: a shaking platform, a heating device, a cooking pan, a motor, and an electronic control unit. The shaking platform includes two parts: a fixed base and a shaking flat plate. The fixed base and the shaking flat plate are connected through four eccentric gears that have a same diameter and are in rectangular arrangement. When the four eccentric gears synchronously rotate under the drive of the motor, the shaking flat plate and the cooking pan start to shake horizontally and circumferentially in a non-rotating manner, and a dish in the pan is turned and mixed under the action of inertia and impact force at a pan edge, so as to achieve a stirring effect. When the automatic cooker works during cover opening, water evaporates rapidly, there is much contact with oxygen gas, and a stir-frying effect is desirable.
