SYSTEM AND METHOD CONFIGURED TO PROVIDE EXTRACORPOREAL SUPPORT FOR PREMATURE FETUS
20190380900 · 2019-12-19 ·

A system configured to enclose a premature fetus within an extracorporeal environment to promote growth of the fetus and increase viability of the fetus. The system includes a chamber having an interior space configured to enclose the fetus, a first fluid circuit that delivers sterile fluid to the chamber, and a second fluid system that transfers oxygen to the fetus. The system chamber includes a stop mechanism including a clamp and an actuator, the clamp positioned in the interior space, the actuator coupled to the clamp such that movement of the actuator moves the clamp, and the actuator positioned at least partially outside the interior space.

SAFETY APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTING MEDICAL PATIENTS
20190358101 · 2019-11-28 ·

A transport incubator comprising an incubator, frame, and supporting components. The incubator is self-leveling, vibrationally isolated, and features active noise canceling or reduction. The frame is composed of lightweight composites and features composite air tanks.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR A NEONATE INCUBATOR, CAPSULE AND CART

Systems and method for positioning a neonate within an imaging device are provided. A capsule incubator, a cart, and a docking incubator are used to move a baby between an imaging device and a incubator, such that a baby can be imagined without having to move the baby from its environment.

Incubator deployable multi-functional panel

An incubator including a plurality of panels. At least one of the panels, or portion thereof, is a multi functional panel that is reversibly connected to at least one of the plurality of panels. The incubator can be opened and closed. In a closed configuration, the incubator sealingly encloses an internal environment. In an open configuration, the multi-functional panel is deployable as a countertop.

Passive thermo-regulated neonatal transport incubator
10383762 · 2019-08-20 · ·

A passive neonatal transport incubator (PNTI), useful for thermo-regulating a neonate, comprising an inner volume configured by means of size and shape to accommodate the neonate, the inner volume is defined by an envelope having a main longitudinal axis with a proximal end and an opposite distal end, the envelope is at least partially perforated. Further, the PNTI is configured to be ventilated by an independently ventilated medical device, and is configured by means of size, shape and material to allow the neonate to be examined by the medical device.

Incubator

The present disclosure provides an incubator capable of enabling a user to easily and sufficiently perform a required operation inside an infant accommodation space of the incubator, since substantially the entire area of a hand insertion opening is actually opened when the user opens a service door and inserts their hand into the hand insertion opening. In the incubator, the hand insertion opening is configured so as to be capable of being opened and closed by the service door in a first state in which a first support frame member is attached to a peripheral wall section of the infant accommodation space, and the hand insertion opening is configured so as to be capable of functioning as an aperture window in a second state in which a second support frame member, a third support frame member, and an aperture window forming member are respectively attached to the peripheral wall section.

Deployable compact surgical and biological apparatus and methods of use

A collapsible containment apparatus (36) with a first hub (21), a second hub (22), a plurality of articulated arms (23, 25) coupled to the first hub (21), a plurality of support arms (24) coupled to both the second hub (22) and the articulated arms (23), and a flexible canopy (73) carried by the articulated arms (23). The apparatus (36) is collapsed by relative movement of the two hubs (21, 22) away from one another, and deployed by relative movement of the hubs (21, 22) toward one another. When the apparatus (36) is deployed the canopy (73) creates a closed interior environment, which may be sterile.

Incubator

An incubator of the disclosure is configured such that a top hood is detachable from a peripheral frame by unlatching first latch mechanisms that latch the top hood. The incubator is also configured such that any of wall portion among four wall portions configuring the peripheral frame are detachable from an incubator base by unlatching any of corresponding second to fifth latch mechanisms.

Premature infant care system

An neonatal care unit comprising: a hood defining an interior space and having a bottom opening, wherein the hood is dimensioned to accommodate a neonate; a sealing skirt extending along at least a portion of a peripheral edge of the bottom opening and configured to engage at least part of a front torso region of a human in a sealing engagement; at least one access opening located about a sidewall of the hood and dimensioned to allow passage of the neonate therethrough; at least two arm ports located about the sidewall and dimensioned to allow passage of a hand therethrough; and at least one port configured to allow passage of a medical conduit therethrough.

Incubator with illumination

An incubator includes: a transparent hood, covering an accommodating space configured to accommodate a baby; an illumination light source, disposed so as to avoid disturbing observation of the baby through the transparent hood, and an emitting member, fixed to the transparent hood, and configured to emit light from the illumination light source, so as to illuminate the accommodating space.
