A medical pendant is disclosed. The medical pendant has a medical pendant post that extends along a longitudinal direction of the medical pendant, the medical pendant post including an electric interface. The electric interface includes a groove disposed in the medical pendant post and extending along the longitudinal direction of the medical pendant post, an insulator disposed in the groove, and a conductor disposed within the insulator.

A system and method for supporting a patient gas delivery tube includes an elongated support member having a cylindric cross section and including first and second distal ends. A generally planar, rigid base secures the first distal end so as to extend from a surface of the base. The support member includes a biasing portion configured to bias arcuate movement between the first and second distal ends. A mount secured to the second distal end secures an associated tube to the second distal end.

What is presented is a fluid fitting used in a facility that has a plurality of surfaces and a source of fluid pressure. The fluid fitting comprises a mounting component, a conduit adapter, a port, and a fluid management device. The mounting component makes the fluid fitting mountable on the external side of the surface. The conduit adapter is connectable to the fluid handling conduit on the internal side of the surface. The port has a flow path to the conduit adapter that enables a fluid connection between the conduit adapter and the port. The fluid management device is permanently incorporated in the flow path such that the fluid management device is permanently connected to the port at the fluid dispensing point.

A medical pendant box body is disclosed. The medical pendant box body has a first panel and a second panel, and a first post and a second post extending along a longitudinal direction of the medical pendant box body. The medical pendant box body also has an upper base plate and a lower base plate. The first panel is attached to the first post and the second panel is attached to the second post. The upper base plate is attached to an upper edge of each of the first and second panels, and the lower base plate is attached to a lower edge of each of the first and second panels. A snap-fit portion is disposed at a side edge portion of at least one of the first panel and the second panel.

A vertical protective device for a medical display hanger comprises a contact piece, a microswitch, a rotating shaft and a vertical protective plate, wherein the contact piece is connected to one end of the rotating shaft, the vertical protective plate is connected to the other end of the rotating shaft, and the microswitch is arranged on a microswitch support; and when a collision of the vertical protective plate happens, the rotating shaft drives the contact piece to rotate, and the contact piece triggers the microswitch, so as to control the medical display hanger to stop moving or immediately rise. When an accidental collision of the medical display hanger happens in a substantially vertical direction, the medical display hanger can effectively come to an emergency stop.
