Provided are an obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis apparatus and an obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis method using the same. The obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis apparatus includes a chair unit on which an object is mounted, the chair unit including an upper body support, a seat, and a leg cradle sequentially arranged in one direction and connected to each other; a storage configured to store body information of the object; an input interface configured to input identification (ID) information of the object; a controller configured to generate a control signal for moving at least one of the upper body support, the seat, and the leg cradle according to first body information of the object identified by the input ID information; and a driver configured to generate a driving force for moving at least one of the upper body support, the seat, and the leg cradle according to the control signal.

An examination table that can be used in other places than a hospital is provided. A portable examination table comprises a seat part for supporting a bottom of a patient, an angle-changeable backrest part for supporting a back of the patient, a pair of angle-changeable arm parts, abutting parts configured to be raised or lowered when the angle of the arm parts relative to the seat part is changed and abut the back of the knees of the patient, and link parts configured to link the arm parts to the backrest part and change the angle of the arm parts, and is configured to convert between an end-sitting positioning state, a lithotomy positioning state, and a folded state.

A medical shelf for holding surgical instruments in a convenient location during obstetric care. The medical shelf includes a tray having pair of arms extending from opposing ends of a rear side thereof, wherein the arms can mount to an end of a birth delivery bed. In a mounted position, the tray provides a surface that can receive surgical instruments to allow a medical professional the ability to conveniently access the instruments while performing a procedure on a patient positioned on the bed. A first brace secures each arm to the tray in a perpendicular position and a second brace secures each arm in an L-shaped configuration. A lip is disposed around a perimeter of the tray. A gap is disposed between the arms to allow the medical professional positioned on a front side of the tray to access the patient positioned on the opposing side of the tray.

A birthing chair for facilitating labor and delivery of an infant. The birthing chair comprises a seat having a seat base and a detachable seat cushion. The seat base forms an aperture for delivery of an infant therethrough. Leg extensions may be attachable to the seat base for supporting the legs of the mother. The seat base may comprise a joint that opens and moves the seat base and leg extensions laterally and expands the size of the aperture in the seat base. The birthing chair may further comprise a suspension system that enables the mother to operate the chair to adjust her position and height at will. The suspension system allows the mother to move in any direction while seated in the birthing chair and still remain supported in the birthing chair. The suspension system may be adjustable. The birthing chair may further comprise a back, headrest, stirrups and handles.

A method of securing a patient onto an operating table when the patient is in a position such as the trendelenburg position and apparatus therefor including a kit. A viscoelastic pad is used to support and hold a patient on a medical procedure table during a medical procedure performed while the table, and thus the patient lying thereon, is in an inclined position, such as the Trendelenburg position. The viscoelastic pad has characteristics which promote a minimization of pressure forces on the patients body, as well as promote a secure cushioning and holding of the patient in a desired position on the table, in order to minimize injury to the patient.

A limb support structure is disclosed. The limb support structure can include a one or more support structures, a locking swivel joint, and a gas pistol mounting element.

A medical examination device is provided with a pair of foot support assemblies, a patient support mat, and a U-shaped support frame with an attached pair of legs. Wheel assemblies are attached to the legs and facilitate the transportation of the device to and from a bed whereby the support assemblies, patient support mat, and legs are extended and adjusted to support a patient on the bed to facilitate a medical examination. The foot support assemblies are foldable, and the patient support mat and legs are collapsible so that the device is transported and stored in a small, compact size.

An apparatus for detecting and notifying occurrence of post-partum haemorrhage in female patients is envisaged. Continued tracking of the blood discharged from a female patient's body during labor as well as postnatal operation procedures is provided for, and as soon as the amount of blood discharged from the body of the female patient exceeds a predetermined threshold value, a light-based alarm and sound-based alarm are triggered. The apparatus includes a first connector connected to the female patient when she is on a Labor Recovery Delivery bed, and a second connector woven onto an undergarment to be worn by the female patient. The first connector and second connector are connected to single use, disposable blood collection bags, whose weights are measured using weight sensors for an accurate calculation of the total amount of the blood lost by the female patient during labor operation procedures and postnatal operation procedures.

The invention is an asymmetrical bedframe. The bedframe is divided off-center, forming a first platform, or back support section and a second platform, or leg support section. Preferably, the platforms are split to separate the area of the bed frame into a first platform that occupies one-third of the area of the bedframe, and a second platform that occupies two-thirds of the area of the bedframe.
