VACUUM PAD AND RELATED SYSTEM
A vacuum pad may include a first layer, a top layer that at least partially forms a top surface of the vacuum pad, a plurality of holes extending through the top layer into an interior space located between at least a portion of the first layer and at least a portion of the top layer, an outlet tube in fluid communication with the interior space, a raised barrier that surrounds the plurality of holes, a plurality of dividers located in the interior space that extend along the first layer from a first end of the respective divider located adjacent to the outlet tube, and at least one spacer located in the interior space that has a different shape than the plurality of dividers. The vacuum pad may include at least one channel and at least one collection area located in the interior space.
WATER BIRTHING APPARATUS
Water birthing apparatus for use in a bath sized to accommodate an adult woman in childbirth, the bath having a base wall and one or more side walls extending upwardly from the base wall to an upper edge to define an open top, including: a false floor sized to cover at least some of the base wall of the bath and including drainage means for draining water from above the false floor to below the false floor; and lifting means associated with the false floor and operable for moving the false floor between a lower position at which the false floor is adjacent or resting on the base wall and an elevated position spaced at which the false floor is spaced above the base wall, and wherein the means includes a plurality of lifting arms connected to the false floor and extending from a movable carriage assembly mounted to a carriage track, the carriage assembly being movable up and down the carriage track.
Method of securing a patient onto an operating table when the patient is in the trendelenburg position and apparatus therefor including a kit
A method of securing a patient onto an operating table when the patient is in the Trendelenburg position and apparatus therefor including a kit. A viscoelastic pad is used to support and hold a patient on a medical procedure table during a medical procedure performed while the table, and thus the patient lying thereon, is in an inclined position, such as the Trendelenburg position. The viscoelastic pad has characteristics which promote a minimization of pressure forces on the patient's body, as well as promote a secure cushioning and holding of the patient in a desired position on the table, in order to minimize injury to the patient.
OBSTETRIC AND GYNECOLOGIC DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS AND OBSTETRIC AND GYNECOLOGIC DIAGNOSIS METHOD USING THE SAME
Provided are an obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis apparatus and an obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis method using the same. The obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis apparatus includes a chair unit on which an object is mounted, the chair unit including an upper body support, a seat, and a leg cradle sequentially arranged in one direction and connected to each other; a storage configured to store body information of the object; an input interface configured to input identification (ID) information of the object; a controller configured to generate a control signal for moving at least one of the upper body support, the seat, and the leg cradle according to first body information of the object identified by the input ID information; and a driver configured to generate a driving force for moving at least one of the upper body support, the seat, and the leg cradle according to the control signal.
