A table for use in an autopsy, necropsy, pathology or dissection procedure, wherein the table comprises a base and a carrier rotatably connected to the base. The table also comprises a first tray arranged within the carrier and a second tray arranged within the carrier. The second tray is parallel to the first tray when in a first position and the second tray and the first tray having a predetermined sized gap arranged therebetween when the carrier is in a first position. The rotating autopsy table may allow for a single user of the table to perform an autopsy procedure on the front of a cadaver or body and then rotate the table on their own, such that the autopsy procedure may be continued on the back of the body without help from other equipment or other people to flip or turn the body over.

An anatomy table for use in autopsies and dissections comprises a base and an immersion storage tank arranged in the base. The anatomy table further comprises a dissection lid arranged on the base, wherein the dissection lid covers the immersion storage tank in its closed position. The table also comprises a hinge secured between the dissection lid and a top edge of the base, wherein the dissection lid rotates about the hinge between a first and second position, wherein the first position allows for access to the body stored in the anatomy table immersion storage tank while the second or closed position of the dissection lid allows for dissecting to occur directly on top of the anatomy table. This may allow for a two in one table to be arranged within a lab, such that autopsy work and dissection or cutting may be performed with the same piece of equipment, wherein two pieces of equipment are usually used within the lab for these procedures.

A device for maintaining a deceased fetus or infant at a temperature lower than ambient; comprises a frame (14), a cooling unit (40) operatively attached to the frame, a cradle or bassinet (20) sized to contain the fetus or infant, operatively attached to the frame, and thermally connected to the cooling unit (40) which comprises a compressor system (44), a copper coil surrounded with an aluminium finned condenser unit (46), heat exchanger (48), evaporator (50) and base plate (30), drain pan (52), power supply conduit (54), and a thermostat (42).

A grossing station comprising a table and a hood connected to the table. The grossing station also comprises a quick release camera system secured to a surface of the hood, wherein the quick release camera system is detachable from the hood for close up angles and zoomed location still or video images of the body or material being examined on a surface of the grossing station.

A grossing station for use in autopsy, necropsy, dissection, and laboratory work comprises a table and a hood connected to the table. The grossing station also comprises an integrated gas sensor system having at least one gas sensor, wherein the integrated gas sensor system is secured to a bottom surface of the hood. The integrated gas sensor system provides real time sampling and reporting of a predetermined noxious gas within a work area of the grossing station. The grossing station may also include a second gas sensor used in conjunction with the first gas sensor to allow for more accurate detection and reporting of over exposure events to a user of the grossing station.

The present disclosure relates generally to a device for maintaining a deceased fetus or infant at a temperature lower than ambient. The device comprises a frame having a top end and a bottom end, a cooling unit operatively attached to the frame, a cradle sized to contain the fetus or infant, operatively attached to the frame, and thermally connected to the cooling unit, and a power supply conduit connected to the cooling unit.

A grossing station for use with performing autopsy, necropsy or pathology procedures comprises a table and an overhead hood connected to a top surface of the table. The grossing station further comprises a blower and ventilation system arranged in the table to move air across the table from a front to rear direction. The grossing station also comprises a trough arranged in an upper surface of the table, wherein the trough receives a plurality of interchangeable grid plates or sinks therein. The grossing station also comprises a first and second panel arranged at the side of the hood in order to create a fume hood for use by the user of the grossing station.

Disclosed herein is a dissection station for a cadaver. The station includes a tray having an arrangement of ventilation openings which allow a passage of fluid from the tray and an elongate form configured to support the cadaver. The station further includes an elongate bath disposed below the tray and configured to support the tray; a drainage system including a drainage outflow from the bath; and a gas extraction system including an exhaust duct from the bath. Further disclosed herein is an installation of a dissection station which is configured to force gas from a ceiling gas insertion mechanism toward the tray and through the ventilation arrangement to the bath and from the bath through an exhaust duct extension.
