The platform may be attached to a frame assembly, which may be capable of being supported by a surgical peg board. The surgical platform assembly may be radiolucent and height adjustable. The surgical platform assembly may provide an extension platform for the patient's lower arm, where the angle of the extension platform may be easily changed as needed or the entire extension platform easily removed, as desired.
UNDERBODY WARMING SYSTEM WITH FOCAL COOLING
An underbody warming system may include a skin contacting surface configured to be positioned on the skin of a user. A plurality of thermoelectric devices may be provided. A first thermoelectric device of the plurality of thermoelectric devices may have a first temperature to create a first temperature gradient between the skin and the first thermoelectric device. A second thermoelectric device of the plurality of thermoelectric devices may have a second temperature different from the first temperature to create a second temperature gradient between the skin and the thermoelectric device. A first flow path may be configured to allow heat to flow between the skin and the first thermoelectric device. A second flow path may be configured to allow heat to flow between the skin and the second thermoelectric device.
BOOT STIRRUP HAVING ADJUSTABLE LENGTH BOOT
A boot stirrup for use with a surgical table is provided. The boot stirrup includes a support arm, a surgical boot, and a lockable joint coupled to the support arm and the surgical boot. The support arm is configured to couple to a surgical table for movement about a plurality of axes relative to the surgical table. The surgical boot is configured to support and/or immobilize the foot and leg of the patient. The lockable joint is configured to selectively permit movement of the surgical boot relative to the support arm.
MEDICAL TABLE WITH LEG SUPPORT
A patient support apparatus is defined that includes a patient support having one or more pads for supporting a patient's torso and hip in a generally horizontal orientation. At least one, elongated leg support extends from the patient support. The leg support is movable through a generally horizontal plane. A portion of the leg support is declinable and inclinable from the horizontal plane. A traction device is connected to the leg support. The traction device is attachable to a patient's leg and operable to exert a traction force on the patient's leg along an axis of the traction device. The traction device is connected to the leg support by a slide assembly and the traction device can be secured stationary relative to the leg support or the traction device can slide relative to the leg support.
Release handle mechanisms for a spar of a limb holder
A patient support apparatus includes a surgical table and a limb support unit coupled to the surgical table. The limb support unit includes a support platform coupled to the surgical table in a fixed position, a first limb holder coupled to the support platform in a fixed position relative to the support platform, and a second limb holder coupled to the support platform and spaced apart from the first limb holder. The first limb holder includes a multi-axis joint coupled to the support platform in a fixed position and a spar coupled to the multi-axis joint to move relative to the support platform while supporting a patient's limb that has been coupled to the spar.
ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT APPARATUS FOR A SURGERY TABLE
An adjustable support apparatus for a surgery table utilizing a platform having first and second end portions. First and second end supports are used to mount the platform which is adjusted by a carriage having a pawl operator. The carriage includes studs having support surfaces for the platform. A tower utilizing a gear rack interacts with the carriage pawl operator to position the platform relative to the first and second end support of the surgery table.
Accessory Pad for Medical Examination Device
An accessory pad is selectively and removably mountable to a footrest of a medical examination device to fill in space between the footrest and seat cushion of the medical examination device and forms a substantially co-planar surface for patient support. The accessory pad has a body with upper and lower surfaces and at least one side. A recess configured to receive and restrain a portion of a footrest is formed in at least one of the lower surface and side of the body and may form a snug fit therewith. When installed, the upper surface of the accessory pad is substantially co-planar with the upper surface of the seat cushion. The accessory pad may also be adjacent to the seat cushion, forming a substantially continuous support surface with the seat cushion. Fastener(s) and restraint member(s) may be included to further secure the accessory pad in place.
EXERCISE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT BED
An exercise diagnosis and treatment bed is disclosed, which includes an underframe and a bed body arranged on the underframe, the bed body includes bed board assemblies and driving modules used for being connected with and supporting the bed board assemblies respectively, the bed board assemblies are spaced from each other and used for supporting preset parts of a human body; the driving module includes a first driving mechanism, a second driving mechanism and a third driving mechanism, and the first driving mechanism, the second driving mechanism and the third driving mechanism are used for driving the bed board assembly to rotate around a second rotating shaft, a third rotating shaft and a first rotating shaft respectively; and the exercise diagnosis and treatment bed may further include a control module used for controlling the first driving mechanism, the second driving mechanism and the third driving mechanism.
Surgical limb positioning and support device and method
A limb positioning and support device for achieving and maintaining reduction of a human bone in connection with surgical procedures involving orthopedic and other surgical fracture tables. The limb positioning and support device includes an articulating and rotating positioning and support arm coupled between a surgical table and a limb saddle. The positioning and support arm is configured to selectively allow translation and/or rotation of the limb saddle in three degrees of freedom. Actuation mechanisms drive the limb saddle vertically and horizontally. A pivot joint coupled between the limb saddle and the positioning and support arm permits rotation of the limb saddle about a vertical axis, and the limb saddle can be angularly displaced about the longitudinal axis of the subject limb. The limb saddle can be positioned and adjusted to bring fractured bone ends into alignment and hold the fracture stationary during the surgical procedure.
Patient positioning device for an x-ray imaging apparatus
The invention relates to a patient positioning device (1, 6, 28, 35) for an x-ray imaging apparatus (23), comprising an x-ray-transparent patient positioning board (5) for positioning a patient (21) in a longitudinal direction (8), and at least one carrier device (3) at least partially supporting the patient positioning board (5). The patient positioning board (5) is subdivided into at least two partial boards (4), wherein each partial board (4) is mounted on a carrier device (3) assigned to the partial board (4).
