An agitator for disposition within a cavity of a vessel body containing a particulate includes a weighted portion and a stirring portion. The agitator is positioned and disposed relative to the vessel body to move the stirring portion through the particulate in response to movement of the weighted portion in response to gravitational and/or inertial forces acting on the weighted portion due to movement of the vessel body. Particulate storage vessel arrangements and methods of particulate mixing are also described.

Bone cement mixing assembly

The invention provides a bone cement mixing assembly including a mixer, a syringe barrel and a movable plug cover. The mixer includes a stirring rod and a stirring barrel. The stirring rod has holding end, a rod body and a stirring end. The stirring barrel has a barrel cover, a first barrel open, a first barrel body, a first barrel bottom, and a stirring space located in the first barrel body. The syringe barrel has a second barrel open, a second barrel body, a second barrel bottom, and an injection space located in the second barrel body. In this way, the complete-stirred bone cement in the stirring barrel can be directly collected and pushed into the syringe barrel through the movement of the movable plug cover to achieve the effect of completing the preparation of the bone cement quickly and efficiently.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION OF HEAT RESISTANT CASTABLES

A multi-module system for applying a refractory monolithic onto an object includes a power module and a placement module, separated and distinct from the power module. The power module includes a hydraulic pump and a prime mover drivably coupled to the hydraulic pump. The placement module includes a mixer for receiving a dry refractory material and a liquid, the mixer operative to mix the dry refractory material and liquid to produce a wet monolithic, and a pump coupled to the mixer and configured to move the wet monolithic out of the mixer. A hydraulic conduit is couplable between the hydraulic pump and at least one of the mixer or the pump, whereby the at least one of the mixer or the pump is driven by hydraulic power produced by the hydraulic pump.

FRACTURING BLENDER SYSTEM AND METHOD USING LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS
20230112062 · 2023-04-13 ·

The present invention provides a method and system for providing on-site electrical power to a fracturing operation, and an electrically powered fracturing system. Natural gas can be used to drive a turbine generator in the production of electrical power. A scalable, electrically powered fracturing fleet is provided to pump fluids for the fracturing operation, obviating the need for a constant supply of diesel fuel to the site and reducing the site footprint and infrastructure required for the fracturing operation, when compared with conventional systems. The treatment fluid can comprise a water-based fracturing fluid or a waterless liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fracturing fluid.

Finger manipulated mixing device and method

A small, non-powered, handheld and finger-manipulated mixing device adapted for stirring or mixing liquids or liquid/solid combinations in relatively small volume containers. The mixing device has an elongated rod-like main body with an agitation member disposed on its distal end. The main body is provided with a bounded shaft segment that is bounded proximally and distally by transition shoulders of greater diameter than the bounded shaft segment, thus providing a region to receive the thumb and finger of the user to spin the main body, with the transition shoulders preventing excessive movement in the axial direction during rotation.

EXHAUST AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM
20230105660 · 2023-04-06 · ·

An exhaust aftertreatment system for an internal combustion engine includes an outer casing defining an exhaust flow path for exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine, a selective catalytic reduction unit provided in the exhaust flow path for reducing nitrogen oxides, a urea dosing device for adding urea to the exhaust flow upstream of the selective catalytic reduction unit, and a rotatable mixer device for mixing the urea with exhaust gases upstream of the selective catalytic reduction unit. The exhaust aftertreatment system further comprises an air inlet valve provided upstream of the mixer device for introducing air into the exhaust flow path, and an electric motor arranged for rotating the mixer device to create a suction of air into the exhaust flow path via the air inlet valve.
