Fluid mixing device and mixing method

Mixing device (1) and fluid mixing method, by means of successive transfers between syringes. The mixing method comprises placing a pair of syringes (2, 3) in the mixing device (1), adjusting a variable fixing element adaptable to the pair of syringes (2, 3) and selecting and running a mixing programme, being the mixing force, the speed and the range and the number of transfers adjustable. The mixing device comprises a mobile carriage (7) longitudinally movable and fixing elements (8, 9) with an adjustable distance between them. The invention allows for the mixing or emulsifying of blood fluids with different viscosity, particularly a protein gel and a platelet-rich plasma, for the preparation of dermatological formulations, in a versatile, hygienic and effective manner.

The pliable enclosure is disposed between the first plate and the support plate. A mixing arrangement includes a docking station having a drive cradle and a drive mechanism. A mixing machine includes a mixing head and at least one connection means for connecting a mixing container to the mixing head for forming a closed mixing container. The mixing head is pivotably mounted with respect to a frame such that the closed mixing container formed from the mixing head and container can be pivoted relative to the frame for performing the mixing process. The mixing head carries at least one rotationally-driven mixing tool. The mixing head comprises a head plate having a connecting flange molded thereon which is configured as an annular disc and comprises a planar contact surface. This contact surface has a radial extension such that mixing containers with different connection diameters on their mixing head connection side can be connected to the mixing head. The at least one connection means is configured for gripping mixing containers which differ in the diameter of their connection sides.

A micro puree machine has a drive motor positioned within a lower portion of a housing extending along a vertical axis. A mixing shaft positioned within an upper portion of the housing extends at a non-parallel angle relative to the vertical axis. The bowl of ingredients is installed to an angled surface of the upper portion of the housing along the mixing shaft axis, allowing for easier viewing of the bowl installation.
