The lid arm is configured to rotate about the first horizontal axis to selectively position the blender lid to cover and uncover the opening in the blender receptacle. The blender arm may rotate the blender lid about the first horizontal axis to cover the opening in the blender receptacle and apply a downward force on the blender lid to seal the opening of the blender receptacle with the blender lid. The blender arm may include a horizontal rod having a longitudinal axis that corresponds to the first horizontal axis and having a first end attached to the blender lid.
Food material powder supply device
A food material powder supply device 1 of the disclosure includes a supply tank 50 that temporarily stores food material powder in a tank 50A and supplies the food material powder to a processing container 2A of a food processing machine 2, a vacuum device 70 that reduces the pressure inside the supply tank 50 with vacuum pumps 71A and 71B, and a control device 3 that operates the vacuum device 70 to reduce the internal pressure of the supply tank 50 to be equal to or lower than a predetermined atmospheric pressure at which moisture of the food material powder is evaporated and cools the food material powder in the supply tank 50. A stirring member 54 which is driven to rotate during the cooling of the food material powder is arranged inside the tank 50A.
Mixing device having a two-part closure lid
A mixing device includes a container for receiving mixing material, with an emptying opening being arranged in the bottom thereof, and a closure cover for closing the emptying opening. The mixing device includes an emptying opening that can be easily and space-savingly opened and closed. The closure cover includes two closure cover portions which can be reciprocated relative to each other between a closed position in which the two closure cover portions are in contact with each other and together form the closure cover and an opened position in which the two closure cover portions are spaced from each other so that an opening is formed between the two closure cover portions for removal of the mixing material from the container.
Method of operating a batch mixer and batch mixer for performing the method
The invention provides a method of operating a batch mixer for producing first and second numbers of mixtures from first and second numbers of batches of materials to be mixed in the batch mixer, the batch mixer comprising a mixing chamber, a mixing element disposed within the mixing chamber, the mixing element and the mixing chamber being configured for providing an identical flow of the materials to be mixed within the mixing chamber and around the mixing element regardless of in which of the first and second opposite directions the mixing element is rotated, and a motor assembly coupled to the mixing element for rotating the mixing element for mixing the first and second numbers of batches of materials to be mixed for producing the first and second numbers of mixtures. The method comprises the steps of energizing said motor assembly for rotating said mixing element in said first direction, for each one of the first number of batches of the materials to be mixed: loading the one of the first number of batches of materials to be mixed into the mixing chamber, mixing the one of the first number of batches of materials for producing one of the first number of mixtures, and removing the one of the first number of mixtures from the mixing chamber, energizing the motor assembly for rotating the mixing element in the second direction, and for each one of the second number of batches of the materials to be mixed loading the one of the second number of batches of materials to be mixed into the mixing chamber, mixing the one of the second number of batches of materials for producing one of the second number of mixtures, and removing the one of the second number of mixtures from the mixing chamber.
Reactor Systems
This disclosure relates to equipment utilized to manufacture chemical agents, particularly biopharmaceuticals. In some embodiments, reactor systems comprising a mobile carriage assembly; a disposable reaction container removably attached to the carriage assembly; and, a carriage holder into which the mobile carriage assembly may be removably inserted are provided.
APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF A PLAY, CRAFT AND/OR TOY COMPOUND
There is provided an apparatus and a method for producing a play compound and the play compound itself which, in one embodiment is a compound which sufficiently fluid to be pliable and is typically cold and slimy to the touch. The apparatus and a method provide a powder and liquid to a user, which can be a non-skilled person and thereby allow the mixing of the powder and liquid together by that person to form the play compound outside of a factory environment whilst ensuring that the play compound which is formed has the desired characteristics. Most typically the user which performs the mixing can be the end user, such as a child, who will play with the compound and so the formation of the play compound forms a new part of the play experience.
FOOD PROCESSING MACHINE AND ASSOCIATED BOWL AND DRIVE ARRANGEMENT
A food processing machine includes a mixer body including a stand and a bowl support. A bowl is mounted atop the bowl support, the bowl including a bottom wall with an opening therein, the bowl having an upper edge, wherein a bowl height is defined by a linear distance from the opening to a height of the upper edge. A tubular member is formed separate from the bowl and is connected to the bowl, the tubular member extending upward from the opening and within the bowl, the tubular member including a lower end and an upper end, wherein a tube height is defined by a linear distance from the opening to a height of the upper end of the tubular member, wherein the tube height is less than the bowl height. A drive is mounted below the bowl support.
Systems for inactivating fluid cultures through heating
A fluid heating system includes a tank assembly having an interior surface bounding a chamber, the tank assembly including a sidewall encircling the chamber and extending between a first end and an opposing second end, the first end bounding an opening to the chamber, and a lid movable between a first position wherein the opening to the chamber is exposed and a second position wherein the lid is disposed over the opening. A collapsible bag is removably disposed within the chamber of the tank assembly, the collapsible bag bounding a compartment adapted to hold a fluid. A mechanism is provided for controlling the temperature of fluid within the collapsible bag when the collapsible bag is positioned within chamber of the tank assembly.
STIRRER COMPRISING TWO ROTATING SHAFTS HAVING INTERSECTING STIRRING BLADES CAPABLE OF ROTATING SYMMETRICALLY AND ROTATING IN IDENTICAL DIRECTION AND STIRRING METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a stirrer for stirring a raw material such as flour or meat. Two rotating shafts are installed inside the stirrer such that stirring blades intersect with each other. The two rotating shafts are controlled to simultaneously rotate symmetrically or to rotate in the same direction, and the stirred raw material is discharged through a side surface of a stirring tank of the stirrer. The rotating shafts having the stirring blades fromed thereon are connected to a driving means that can adjust the phase angle of the two shafts, via a position control device. The raw material is stirred while relative positions are adjusted such that the stirring blades formed on the two rotating shafts do not interfere with each other.
