Method for Treating and Correcting Gait Related Joint Dysfunctions
A method for correcting various dysfunctional joints on a human body using manual manipulation by an practitioner, comprising the steps of first determining the dominant and non-dominant side of a patient's body, manually administering to the human body a primary treatment cycle that includes nine functional joint manipulations each applied on one treatment session sequentially from patient's dominant side foot, the dominant-side knee, the dominant-side hip, the dominant-side pubic symphysis, the dominate side sacrotuberous ligament, the contralateral proximal clavicle, the contralateral shoulder, the contralateral elbow, and ending at the contralateral wrist. After the primary treatment cycle is completed, a secondary treatment cycle comprising nine functional joint manipulations each applied on one treatment session visit sequentially beginning at the non-dominate foot and moving upward and towards the patient's upper body contralateral shoulder, arm and wrist. After the secondary treatment cycle is completed, the primary treatment cycle is repeated.
Bedding foundation having multiple lift actuators for massage effect
A bedding foundation has a linear actuator for moving a roller carriage forward and backwards. The roller carriage includes wheels which move along rails supported below a rigid platform having an opening extending through the platform. The roller carriage includes a lifter which raises and lowers a roller independently of the movement of the linear actuator. Regardless of the position of the linear actuator, the roller may be raised or lowered. The roller moves back and forth inside the opening extending through the rigid platform and imparts a massage movement to a mattress above the foundation.
PORTABLE MASSAGE TABLE
In one embodiment of the present invention a portable massage table is provided, comprising a chest support element having a top side and a bottom side; a chest cushion affixed to the top side of chest support element; a pair of hinge support elements attached to bottom side of chest support element; a pair of support legs rotational mounted to the pair of hinge support elements, wherein the pair of support legs comprise a plurality of positional holes; a pair of head support beams rotational mounted to the pair of hinge support elements, wherein the pair of head support beams are designed to support a face cushion; and a base plate removable attached to the plurality of positional holes via removable hardware.
Orthopedic spinal injury therapy device
An orthopedic spinal injury therapy device. The device comprises a lying plate, an inflatable bag is provided in the middle of the lying plate, a straight slot is formed in one side of the inflatable bag, supporting plates are vertically connected to both sides of the bottom end of the lying plate, a sliding rod is horizontally arranged between the supporting plates, a nut block and a movable block are connected to both ends of the sliding rod respectively, a threaded rod is vertically connected into the nut block, a fixed rod vertically penetrates through the movable block; the upper ends and the lower ends of the threaded rod and the fixed rod are fixed to side walls of the corresponding supporting plates by mounting blocks, a hollow-square sliding block is slidingly provided on the sliding rod, and a mounting plate is connected to the top of the sliding block.
Adjustable cervical traction assemblies for person support apparatuses
A cervical traction assembly for use with a patient support apparatus includes an adjustment carriage track member including a connecting bracket assembly that releasably connects to a mount support member of the patient support apparatus. The adjustment track member includes a track body including a pair of opposing sidewalls that are spaced-apart from each other to define an elongated channel therebetween. Each sidewall includes a guide track that extends along a length of the respective sidewall. A rope angle adjustment carriage is located within the channel. The rope angle adjustment carriage includes a first track engagement member that is received by one of the guide tracks of one of the sidewalls and a second track engagement member that is received by another of the guide tracks of another of the sidewalls. The first track engagement member has a locked configuration that inhibits movement of the rope angle adjustment carriage.
PROGRAMMABLE MULTI-THERAPY INVERSION TABLE
An inversion table that incorporates additional therapies, such as massage, traction, and heat. Therapeutic elements of the inversion table may be programmable, so that settings are cycled automatically through preprogrammed patterns. Illustrative programs may include: (1) dynamic inversion that gradually increases the range of negative (inverted) and positive (upright) tilt angles; (2) dynamic massage that successively activates massage elements for different body parts in conjunction with changes in tilt angles; (3) dynamic traction, that gradually increases traction tension in conjunction with increased range of inversion angles; (4) dynamic heating and traction, that gradually increases heating pad temperature in conjunction with cycling traction tension; and (5) dynamic infrared heating and inversion, that gradually increases infrared heating temperature in conjunction with increasing the amount of inversion.
MASSAGE FACE PILLOW WITH INTERNAL CHANNEL
This utility model discloses a massage face pillow with an internal air channel, comprising upper Tier 1 filler made of soft sponge and lower Tier 2 filler made of EPE foam. The upper filler features a face-shaped hole, adapted to fit the human face, while the lower filler includes a corresponding round hole, forming a vertical breathing air channel. A horizontal air channel extends from the vertical air channel to an air outlet at the front edge, enhancing ventilation. This two-layer structure ensures a secure facial fit while optimizing airflow and maintaining a low profile. Designed for massage and beauty treatments, it eliminates the need for an additional face cradle and allows use on massage mats without ventilation holes.
Massage apparatus
A massage apparatus, in which a height of an auxiliary portion is adjustable, includes: a body portion configured to support an upper body of a user; and an auxiliary portion connected to the body portion to support a lower body of the user. The auxiliary portion includes a lifting member configured to adjust a height of the auxiliary portion.
Stretching table
A stretching table that provides targeted stretching for lower extremity, lower back and/or lower abdominal muscle groups in a human patient and is capable of being manipulated in a number of different configurations. The stretching table is capable of providing targeted stretching so that certain muscle groups can be stretched, rehabilitated and/or worked on individually. According to one example, the stretching table includes a base member, an upright member connected to the base member, an upper body support member connected to the upright member, and first and second lower body support members connected to the upper body support member via a connection mechanism.
Physical therapy personal protective screen apparatus, method and kit
A physical therapy protective screen apparatus for providing safety and privacy for persons being treated on a physical therapy table. The physical therapy protective screen apparatus includes a planar rigid barrier held in place by at least a first attachment member on a physical therapy table.
