An apparatus configured for mixing the contents of one or more fluid containers includes a fluid container support platform configured to hold one or more fluid containers. The fluid container support platform is configured to index the container to one or more specified locations and to be moved in an orbital path about an orbital center independently of the rotation about the central axis of rotation. The apparatus further includes an indexing drive system configured to effect indexing movement of the container support platform and a vortex drive system configured to effect powered orbital movement of the container support platform about the orbital center. An evaporation limiting insert placed within containers reduces exposure of the fluid contents of the container to atmospheric air, thereby reducing susceptibility of the fluid contents to evaporation.

Coated mixing device for hydrocarbon fluid storage containers to combat mixing abrasion

A storage container for hydrocarbon fluid includes a mixing device having a sacrificial coating to protect against abrasion of the protective coating along the container wall during mixing.

Mixing drum

A mixing drum includes a body defining a head aperture and a discharge aperture opposite the head aperture, a head coupled to the body and extending across the head aperture, and a mixing element positioned within the volume and coupled to the body. The head and the body define a volume. The body is formed from at least a first section and a second section. The first section overlaps the second section.

Waste absorbing formulation with communication capabilities and toilet systems for use thereof

A toilet apparatus has a waste material receiving bowl with an opening to receive an absorbent media and indicator and a sensor to detect a presence of the indicator in the material receiving bowl when the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl and transmit a signal indicating the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl. A control circuit receives the signal from the sensor, processes the signal to determine the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl, and causes one or more actions to be taken by the toilet apparatus based on determining the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl.

Mixing machine and discharging station

A mixing container 1 with a top filling opening 5, with a connection flange 9, 9.1 which projects outward in the area of the top filling opening 5 in a radial direction for connecting the mixing container 1 to the mixing head of an industrial mixing machine and with a bottom discharge 13 that can be blocked and opened comprises a mixing receptacle 3, 3.1 forming the hollow chamber 4 of the mixing container 1 and with a wall 18, 19 encompassing its hollow chamber and flexible in a radial direction and comprises a container frame 2 holding the mixing receptacle 3, 3,1 and with the connection flange 9 and the discharge 13. The container frame 2 holds the mixing receptacle 3, 3.1, in such a manner that its wall 18, 19 surrounding the hollow chamber 4 is at least partially accessible in the circumferential direction for bringing about a deformation of it in the radial direction.

An adapter for an airtight connection to a container and for airtight dispensing of the container's contents, the adapter having: a gate valve, a tube extending from the gate valve to a female coupling, the female coupling being configured for insertion in a mouth of the container, the female coupling having a dispensing valve for opening when dispensing the container's contents and closing when dispensing is finished as needed, such that air is prevented from entering the container, and an airtight connector for connecting the adapter to the container.

MIXING DRUM

A mixing drum includes a body defining a head aperture and a discharge aperture opposite the head aperture, a head coupled to the body and extending across the head aperture, a bearing member coupled to the body and defining a bearing surface surrounding the body, and a mixing element positioned within the volume and coupled to the body. The head and the body define a volume configured to contain a fluid mixture. The mixing element is configured to drive the fluid mixture toward the head when the drum is rotated in a first direction. The mixing element is configured to drive the fluid mixture towards the discharge aperture when the mixing drum is rotated in a second direction opposite the first direction. The head is made from a first material, and the body is made from a second material having a lesser density than the first material.

Mixing bowl and liner system

A mixing bowl and liner system for lining a mixing bowl so that the mixing bowl can be used without soiling it includes a rigid mixing bowl defining a bowl cavity. The mixing bowl has an interior surface adjacent the bowl cavity and a top edge defining an opening to said bowl cavity. A liner is insertable into the bowl cavity and comprises a wall, a rim, and a spout. The wall is coextensive with the interior surface of the mixing bowl and the rim rests on the top edge of the mixing bowl when the liner is inserted into the mixing bowl. The spout is coupled to the rim and has a pair of ridges which protrude outwardly in converging alignment.
