DEHYDRATOR SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Dehydrator systems having a core dehydrator and a mixing unit are described herein and methods of using the same. The core dehydrator comprises a turbulent flow mixing compartment the turbulent flow mixing compartment with plate openings having a turbulent flow transition zone where linear speed of fluid flow is reduced, a clarifying sediment chamber, where fluid flow is substantially laminar) comprising a plurality of small deflector plaques and a plurality of large deflector plaques and a flocculation pipe. In the turbulent flow transition zone, fluid flow transitions from turbulent flow to laminar flow. The mixing unit comprises a plurality of vertical flocculators. The mixing unit further comprises a rapid mixing manifold. The rapid mixing manifold contains drilling fluids and flocculant polymers.
Paint dispensing system
A novel canister storage system, mixing system, canister assembly, dispensing system, and tracking system. In one or more embodiments, the systems are used for storing, mixing and dispensing fluids. In one application, the fluid includes one or more paint toners.
TREATMENT DEVICE, STERILIZATION DEVICE, STERILIZATION WATER, AND STERILIZATION METHOD
A treatment apparatus and a sterilization apparatus each include a liquid reservoir portion configured to store a treatment subject liquid, a plasma generation portion configured to generate a plasma on or above a liquid surface of the treatment subject liquid, and a bubble supply portion configured to generate a bubble containing the generated plasma on or above the liquid surface and configured to supply the bubble into the treatment subject liquid. Thus, the plasma is generated on or above the liquid surface of the treatment subject liquid, and the bubble containing the generated plasma is generated and supplied into the treatment subject liquid.
Cassette for sample preparation
Apparatuses for preparing a sample are disclosed herein. The apparatuses include a chamber, a first valve at least partially disposed in the first chamber, a second valve at least partially disposed in the first chamber, and a pump comprising an actuator and nozzle.
Canister
A novel canister storage system, mixing system, canister assembly, dispensing system, and tracking system. In one or more embodiments, the systems are used for storing, mixing and dispensing fluids. In one application, the fluid includes one or more paint toners.
Apparatus and Methods for Parallel Processing of Microvolume Liquid Reactions
Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for conducting multiple simultaneous micro-volume chemical and biochemical reactions in an array format. In one embodiment, the format comprises an array of microholes in a substrate. Besides serving as an ordered array of sample chambers allowing the performance of multiple parallel reactions, the arrays can be used for reagent storage and transfer, library display, reagent synthesis, assembly of multiple identical reactions, dilution and desalting. Use of the arrays facilitates optical analysis of reactions, and allows optical analysis to be conducted in real time. Included within the invention are kits comprising a microhole apparatus and a reaction component of the method(s) to be carried out in the apparatus.
Automated multichannel media dispenser
An apparatus and method for preparing a plant tissue medium are disclosed, the method comprising preparing a plurality of compounds in vessels; positioning a dispensing unit including a plurality of nozzles in communication with the plurality of vessels over an interior of a mixing container; dispensing predetermined amounts of at least one of the liquid compounds through one of the plurality of nozzles into the mixing container wherein the predetermined amounts are controlled by an electronic controller; positioning the dispensing unit in a second position; and sterilizing the mixing container containing the dispensed liquid compounds.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR INTEGRATED SAMPLE PREPARATION, REACTION AND DETECTION
Cartridges for the isolation of a biological sample and downstream biological assays on the sample are provided, as are methods for using such cartridges. In one embodiment, a nucleic acid sample is isolated from a biological sample and the nucleic acid sample is amplified, for example by the polymerase chain reaction. The cartridges provided herein can also be used for the isolation of non-nucleic acid samples, for example proteins, and to perform downstream reactions on the proteins, for example, binding assays. Instruments for carrying out the downstream biological assays and for detecting the results of the assays are also provided.
Fluid processing systems and methods
Systems and methods for delivering fluid-containing feed materials to process equipment are disclosed. A liner-based pressure dispensing vessel is subjected to filling by application of vacuum between the liner and overpack. Multiple feed material flow controllers of different calibrated flow ranges may be selectively operated in parallel for a single feed material. Feed material blending and testing for scale-up may be performed with feed materials supplied by multiple liner-based pressure dispensing containers. A gravimetric system may be used to determine concentration of at least one component of a multi-component solution or mixture.
INERTING SYSTEM FOR AN AIRCRAFT
An inerting system for an aircraft and a method of inerting a hydrogen system in an aircraft. Also an aircraft with such an inert system. In the inerting system, a part of an inerting gas that has already been supplied to the casing of the hydrogen system is mixed with pure inerting gas through a fluid recirculation system.
