SELF-CONTAINED DEVICE FOR GENERATING A VISCOUS FOAM
This foam-generating device is easily transportable, free from fluid or power supply constraints, and able to supply a foam such as viscous foam with a high (low liquid fraction), time-invariant (low liquid fraction). The gas is withdrawn compressed from a cylinder, and a fixed fraction of its flow is used to drive a pneumatic pump which draws in the foaming liquid. The foam is formed in a mixer containing free-moving solids shortly before the ejection end of the device. The mixer has highly mobile balls in a cage of much larger dimensions; it is suitable for producing foam with a high overrun. Application: decontamination and depollution of large surfaces, buildings or indoor or outdoor structures.
MEDICAL MATERIAL MIXER AND TRANSFER APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME
Methods, apparatus and kits for preparing a medical mixture are disclosed. A method of preparing the medical mixture includes introducing a material into a tray, transferring the material from the tray to a scooper, releasably securing the scooper to the tray, and introducing a tubular member defining a lumen into the scooper such that the material within the scooper enters the lumen. A mixing apparatus includes a tray comprising a body defining a mixing receptacle configured to receive a material, a scooper having a proximal end with a proximal opening and a distal end with a distal opening, and a connector configured to releasably secure the scooper to the tray. A kit includes a tubular member, a stylet, a tray, and a scooper.
High flow nozzle for fiber-reinforced concrete
Glass-fiber-reinforced concrete compositions that may be sprayed, and methods of preparing and applying such compositions. Such compositions may include cement, reinforcing glass fibers randomly oriented and homogenously distributed throughout the concrete composition, and a particle packing aggregate. At least a portion of the particle packing aggregate may be rounded rather than crushed and include a first aggregate portion having a first particle size and a second aggregate portion having a second particle size that is smaller than the first particle size so that the aggregate is capable of particle packing. The uncured compositions can be delivered through a spray nozzle with the glass fibers already mixed into the composition. The compositions can provide uniform, non-directional strength characteristics, e.g., modulus of rupture of at least 16 MPa and a limit of proportionality of at least 7 MPa with a glass-fiber content of no more than 4% by weight.
Storage, mixing, dispensing and tracking system
A novel canister storage system, mixing system, canister assembly, dispensing system, and tracking system. In one or more embodiments, the systems are used for storing, mixing and dispensing fluids.
Animal feed mixing and dispensing apparatus
A feed mixing and dispensing apparatus includes a container mountable on a transport. The container has a longitudinal axis, a transverse axis and a vertical axis, a pair of opposite end walls, a pair of opposite side walls and a base wail and a top opening. The longitudinal axis extends substantially parallel to the direction of travel of the container, while the transverse axis is substantially perpendicular to the direction of the travel of the container. A mixing shaft connected to a drive means is rotatably mounted inside the container and comprises mixing members for breaking up and mixing the feed. The mixing shaft extends between the side wails substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the container. A feed discharge arrangement is provided for discharging the mixed feed from the container.
Paint dispensing system
A novel canister storage system, mixing system, canister assembly, dispensing system, and tracking system. In one or more embodiments, the systems are used for storing, mixing and dispensing fluids. In one application, the fluid includes one or more paint toners.
Canister
A novel canister storage system, mixing system, canister assembly, dispensing system, and tracking system. In one or more embodiments, the systems are used for storing, mixing and dispensing fluids. In one application, the fluid includes one or more paint toners.
