System For Analysis And Reuse Of Waste Liquids
A system for measurement of quantity (density) of particles/solid materials in wastewater, and dilution of particle quantity based on the intended application. Currently enabling quick and serial measurement of particle quantity in laboratory environment, this system is placed inside the desired step of the process of an industrial facility. This way, the system yields quick results and in turn reduces the analysis and evaluation costs.
Apparatus, system, and method for producing a sealant
Described herein is a method for producing a sealant. The method includes mixing a first material with a second material at a manufacturing site to produce the sealant. The method also includes applying x-ray energy to the sealant at the manufacturing site. The method includes measuring an amount of fluorescence emitted from the sealant in response to applying the x-ray energy. The method also includes calculating a mix ratio of the first and second materials of the sealant based on the amount of fluorescence. The method includes determining whether the mix ratio is within a predetermined mix ratio range.
CHEMICAL LIQUID PREPARATION DEVICE, AND SUBSTRATE PROCESSING DEVICE

CHEMICAL LIQUID APPLICATION APPARATUS AND VISCOSITY ADJUSTMENT BOTTLE
A chemical liquid application apparatus according to one embodiment includes: a processing unit which applies a chemical liquid to a substrate; and a viscosity adjustment unit including a viscosity adjustment bottle which mixes a chemical liquid and a diluent. The viscosity adjustment bottle includes a first introduction port into which the chemical liquid is introduced, a second introduction port into which the diluent diluting the chemical liquid is introduced, a porous body which is connected to the first and second introduction ports and includes a plurality of holes through which the chemical liquid and the diluent introduced from the first and second introduction ports flow, and a discharge port which is connected to the porous body and from which the mixture of the chemical liquid and the diluent is discharged.
METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE SOLUBILITY OF A BUFFER
The invention discloses a method for predicting the solubility of at least one species at a specified pH value in an aqueous buffer comprising at least one weak acid species and/or at least one weak base species. The method comprises the steps of: a) selecting a start composition of the buffer, giving a start value for the total solute concentration; b) calculating the concentrations of all ionic species present in the buffer at the specified pH value from the total composition of the buffer and available dissociation constants; c) calculating the solubility limits of each combination of ionic species present in the buffer from available solubility products, taking the concentrations calculated in step a) into account; d) comparing the concentrations of all ionic species calculated in step a) with the solubility limits calculated in step b) and determining if any solubility limit is exceeded; e) if no solubility limit is exceeded, increasing the total solute concentration of the buffer or, if at least one solubility limit is exceeded, decreasing the total solute concentration of the buffer, and; f) repeating steps b)-e) until a predetermined convergence criteria is met.
MOLDED PRODUCT PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A molded product production system includes at least two measuring feeders configured to simultaneously adjust an amount of a discharged powdery material to a target value and feed the powdery material, a mixer configured to mix at least two powdery materials fed from the measuring feeders to obtain mixed powdery materials, a filler configured to fill, with the mixed powdery materials obtained by the mixer, a die bore of a compression-molding machine configured to compress a powdery material to mold a molded product, a sensor configured to measure a mixing degree of the mixed powdery materials obtained by the mixer, and a controller configured to adjust an amount of at least one of the powdery materials fed by the measuring feeders, or motion speed of a mixing member configured to agitate powdery materials in the mixer in accordance with the mixing degree of the mixed powdery materials measured by the sensor.
Self-Cleaning Concrete Mix Monitoring
System and method of the invention involves use of a sensor-containing body which is mounted and/or rotatably disposed along the longitudinal rotational axis of a concrete mixer drum at the close end, the sensor-containing body being connected to a conduit for introducing water, chemical admixture, gas, and/or cleansing fluid through the closed end of the drum into the mixer drum. Numerous heretofore unrealized combinations of advantages and benefits are provided within the concrete industry by the invention.
Fluid mixer with touch-enabled graphical user interface, auto flush-out, management reporting, and logging
A “fluid mixer” device that automates the mixing of multiple fluids into a base liquid and the delivery of the mixed liquid according to user-specified parameters with automatic flush-out, full logging and reporting capabilities. The device is comprised of a plurality of modules, each of which is designed for a different environmental setting: (a) the control module, the module with which the user interfaces, is normally located in a dry area, away from both line voltage electricity and fluids; (b) the power module, which supplies power to all modules, is located near 110V-230V single phase line voltage, and thus contains all of the high-voltage gear and interfaces; and (c) the flow module, the bank of controlled liquid mixers, is located in the wet area and uses only low-voltage direct current in its operation.
DILUTED SOLUTION PRODUCTION METHOD AND DILUTED SOLUTION PRODUCTION APPARATUS
A diluted solution production method of the present invention is a diluted solution production method of producing a diluted solution of a second liquid by adding the second liquid to a first liquid, the method including feeding the first liquid to a first pipe; and controlling pressure in a tank that stores the second liquid to add, through the second pipe that connects the tank to the first pipe, the second liquid to the first liquid in the first pipe. Adding the second liquid includes measuring a flow rate of the first liquid or the diluted solution that flows through the first pipe; measuring a component concentration of the diluted solution; and controlling the pressure in the tank, based on the measured values of the flow rate and the component concentration, so as to adjust the component concentration of the diluted solution to a specified value.
