METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ON-SITE PREPARATION AND DOSING OF AN ENZYME-CONTAINING DETERGENT FORMULATION
Disclosed is a method for the preparation and supply of an enzyme-containing detergent formulation, the method comprising the steps of: a transferring from a plurality of feed sources (3a to 3f) the ingredients required for forming a batch of the detergent formulation into a mixing vessel (25), b mixing the ingredients to form the batch, c discharging the batch from the mixing vessel, d by pumping supplying at least a part of the batch to at least one treatment device (42), wherein at least one feed source is comprising an enzyme-containing concentrate, wherein the preparation is performed on-site with the treatment device, and wherein the amounts supplied of the batch and of the enzyme concentrate as part of the batch are determined by weight. Also disclosed is an apparatus (41) for on-site with the treatment devices (42) preparing and supplying the detergent formulation.
Method for adjusting a blend composition
A method for adjusting a blend composition includes: receiving target blend composition data associated with a target blend composition having a target blend property; controlling blend component flow streams to cause blend components to be added to a blend tank to form a blend composition; determining a property of the blend composition; comparing the property of the blend composition with the target blend property; generating control flow instructions based on the property of the blend composition and a machine learning analysis of historical blend data; and adjusting a blend component flow stream of the blend component flow streams to form a modified blend composition in the blend tank.
COLOR CONVERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture to a new product brand; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture using one or more ingredients of the new product brand, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.
Hair dye dispenser and system comprising thereof
A hair dye dispenser according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a housing having an opening hole formed on one side of which a hair dye is provided, a plurality of cartridges disposed inside the housing and accommodating at least one dyeing material, a main body in which the plurality of cartridges are rotatably disposed, a main motor for rotating the main body so that a first cartridge of the plurality of cartridges is located adjacent to the opening hole, a discharge module for discharging the dyeing material contained in the first cartridge, and an accommodating body in which a basket accommodating the dyeing material discharged by the discharge module is placed, wherein the discharge module may include an elevating body that pressurizes the first cartridge when moving up and is separated from the first cartridge when moving down.
PUMP DRIVE FOR AUTOMATIC DRUG COMPOUNDER
A pump drive for an automatic drug compounder may be provided. The pump drive may include a pump head assembly with a plurality of operational mechanisms controllable to operate a pump cartridge to pump fluids through the cartridge to a vial containing a drug, or to pump a reconstituted drug to a receiving container. The pump drive may include a vial lift vial grip configured to retrieve the vial from a vial tray and lift the vial such that a needle assembly of the pump cartridge extends into the vial through sealing membranes of the cartridge and a vial puck attached to the vial. The pump head assembly may be rotatable to agitate and/or invert the vial. The operational mechanism may include an eccentric drive for driving a piston pump of the cartridge and a plurality of valve actuators for operating valves of the pump cartridge.
Asphalt concrete having a high recycled content and method of making the same
A method of making asphalt concrete mixtures including reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). Variability in the fraction of binder that occurs in RAP that is able to melt and mix with virgin binder included in the concrete mixture previously made it difficult to select an appropriate amount of virgin binder. Methods described herein permit an asphalt concrete mix designer to determine the amount of virgin binder that can be combined with RAP and virgin aggregate in order to satisfy the minimum effective binder content of a job mix formula for such a concrete mix. The subject matter described herein thus permits more efficient use of RAP and permits use of RAP in higher amounts in asphalt concrete mixtures.
Liquid ejection device for a vehicle washing system and method for its operation
A liquid ejection device for a vehicle washing system includes a reservoir volume, a first supply line coupled upstream to the reservoir for supplying a first liquid with a first supply rate and a second supply line coupled upstream to the reservoir for supplying a second liquid with a second supply rate. The device further comprises a removal line coupled downstream to the reservoir with a blocking device for blocking liquid flow through the removal line, and a detection unit for detecting liquid volume in the reservoir and a mixing ratio of the liquids introduced into the reservoir; and a removal device for ejecting the liquid found in the reservoir through an ejection element coupled to the removal line. In addition, the device comprises a control unit which is coupled to the detection unit and the removal device and is set up to start an ejection process by the removal device upon reaching a predetermined liquid volume and a predetermined mixing ratio.
MIXING APPARATUS
A mixing apparatus is for selective mixing of contents. The mixing apparatus has a body that defines an interior space. The body further has an aperture for permitting access to the interior space. The body has at least a portion that is collapsible and configured to be gripped and repositioned by a user to collapse a part of the body into the interior space to alter at least one of: the volume of the interior space; and the shape of the interior space. The mixing apparatus further has at least one mixing member located within the interior space that is configured and located so that the contents is forced against the at least one mixing member when the collapsible portion is gripped and repositioned by a user.
INLINE DISPENSING DEVICE
A capsule includes an upper body portion and a lower body portion that is coupled to the upper body portion. The lower body portion includes a lower wall that defines a lower opening. The lower body portion and the upper body portion together define an internal cavity. At least one of the upper body portion or the lower body portion includes a plurality of grooves spaced at intervals along a circumferential direction with respect to a central axis of the capsule. The plurality of grooves extends at an angle in a partially axial direction and a partially circumferential direction.
