MACHINE FOR MAKING AND DISPENSING LIQUID OR SEMI-LIQUID FOOD PRODUCTS
A machine for making and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid food products, includes, in combination: a container for containing liquid or semi-liquid products; a thermal treatment cylinder contained inside the container and having an axis that is inclined relative to the vertical; a stirrer mounted to the outside of the thermal treatment cylinder; a thermal system including a heat exchanger associated with the thermal treatment cylinder, wherein the container for containing liquid or semi-liquid products is defined by a first, inside wall and a second, outside wall, the first, inside wall and the second, outside wall forming between them a gap that is not affected by the liquid or semi-liquid products.
Bioreactors with multiple or adjustable-position agitator designs
Described herein are bioreactor support structures configured to be used with containers having different designs, and methods for making and using such bioreactors. The support structures described herein may include two or more agitator motors and control systems or an adjustable-position agitator motor, a removable spacer and/or lid, multiple configurations for ports and probes, and multiple exhaust filter heating blankets. Also described herein are methods of manufacturing a multi-agitator motor or adjustable-position agitator motor bioreactor, as well as methods of modifying an existing support structure to be used with a container not originally designed to be used with the existing support structure, and methods for operating these bioreactors.
Fenton apparatus for safety of industrial exothermic reactions
A Fenton apparatus of the present disclosure includes a reactor vessel, gas injection inlets that allow ejection of aeration coolant perpendicular to axis of the reactor vessel to agitate a reaction composition present in the reactor vessel under vortex conditions, a jacket cooling loop encasing the reactor vessel to allow circulation of a jacket coolant selected from a group consisting of forced air, nitrogen gas, and water, a coil cooling loop coiling around the reactor vessel to allow circulation of a coil coolant selected from a group consisting of forced air, nitrogen gas, water, and carbon dioxide. Multiple programmable solenoid valves are provided to individually control injection of the aeration coolant, the jacket coolant, and the coil coolant. A controller is provided to communicate with a temperature sensor and each programmable solenoid valve.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING REDUCTANT DEPOSIT FORMATION IN A DECOMPOSITION REACTOR OF AN EXHAUST GAS AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust gas aftertreatment system includes a decomposition reactor, an injector, and a processor. The decomposition reactor includes a body, an impingement structure, and a heater. Exhaust gas is flowable through the body. The body includes an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is configured to receive the exhaust gas at a first temperature. The outlet is configured to selectively expel the exhaust gas at a second temperature greater than the first temperature. The impingement structure is disposed within the body between the inlet and the outlet. The impingement structure extends into the body and is located such that the exhaust gas flowing through the body impinges on the impingement structure. The heater is coupled to the impingement structure and configured to selectively heat the impingement structure. The injector is configured to inject reductant into the body. The processor is programmed to control the heater.
Heat exchanger
The heat exchanger (1) contains a jacket element (2) and an insert element (3), wherein the insert element (3) is arranged in the operating state in the interior of the jacket element (2).
