Water birthing apparatus for use in a bath sized to accommodate an adult woman in childbirth, the bath having a base wall and one or more side walls extending upwardly from the base wall to an upper edge to define an open top, including: a false floor sized to cover at least some of the base wall of the bath and including drainage means for draining water from above the false floor to below the false floor; and lifting means associated with the false floor and operable for moving the false floor between a lower position at which the false floor is adjacent or resting on the base wall and an elevated position spaced at which the false floor is spaced above the base wall, and wherein the means includes a plurality of lifting arms connected to the false floor and extending from a movable carriage assembly mounted to a carriage track, the carriage assembly being movable up and down the carriage track.

Provided are an obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis apparatus and an obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis method using the same. The obstetric and gynecologic diagnosis apparatus includes a chair unit on which an object is mounted, the chair unit including an upper body support, a seat, and a leg cradle sequentially arranged in one direction and connected to each other; a storage configured to store body information of the object; an input interface configured to input identification (ID) information of the object; a controller configured to generate a control signal for moving at least one of the upper body support, the seat, and the leg cradle according to first body information of the object identified by the input ID information; and a driver configured to generate a driving force for moving at least one of the upper body support, the seat, and the leg cradle according to the control signal.

CHILDBIRTH SUPPORT APPARATUS
Childbirth support apparatus comprises a frame suspending a chest swing harness and a pair of thigh swing harnesses. The frame suspends the thigh swing harnesses adjacently and the chest swing harness in front of the thigh swing harnesses and the thigh swing harnesses lower than the chest swing harness so that the apparatus is configured to support a mother in a leaning-forward squatting position wherein the thigh swing harnesses hold the mother under thighs and wherein the chest swing harness holds the mother across the chest. The harnesses are not restrictively interconnected to each other so that each harness can swing independently with respect to the frame.
SURGICAL POSITIONING SYSTEM
A surgical positioning system includes a flexible air-impermeable shell filled with beads that is wrapped against the patient and subjected to a vacuum to hold the patient in place. An air-impermeable top wall can be joined with an air-impermeable bottom wall to define a plurality of chambers. Each of the chambers can include a peripheral edge that extends around the periphery of the respective chamber. The plurality of chambers can include a first shoulder chamber, a second shoulder chamber, and a main chamber.

The emergency mobile labor cot for providing healthcare to pregnant women at their doorstep according to the invention comprises a mainframe, adjustable headrest [1], a base structure with wheels [7,9,15], an actuator lever [4] for folding the legs, and an IV fluid stand [17]. The method of providing healthcare to the patient, comprises the steps of bringing the equipment down to the floor; strapping the patient with strap belts; lifting the equipment to convert it into a labor cot; putting in place the side guards; wheeling the patient into the ambulance; pressing the actuating lever to align the legs of the COT to sit inside the rails fitted inside the ambulance; locking of the mobile labor cot inside the ambulance van using the automatic locking mechanism; fitting the foot straps into the slop; adjusting the sterilized tray; opening the screen for privacy; taking the delivery kit out and performing the delivery with the doctor.
