AGITATION AND LEVELING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PARTICULATE MATERIAL
A particulate material agitation and leveling control system includes a controller having a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to receive a sensor signal indicative of a measured load on a drive system coupled to an agitation and leveling system, select an operating mode of the agitation and leveling system from an agitation mode and a leveling mode based on the measured load, and instruct the drive system to operate the agitation and leveling system based on the operating mode.
OPERATION OF AN AGRICULTURAL AGITATING SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure include an agitating system of an agricultural system having a drive system configured to operate an agitator and a controller comprising a memory and a processor. The controller is configured to alternatingly instruct the drive system to operate the agitator in an active operation for an active time and instruct the drive system to suspend operation of the agitator for a dwell time after the active time.
High specific mechanical energy extrusion screw assembly
High Specific Mechanical Energy extruder screw assemblies (14, 88, 98) and complete extruders (10, 86, 96) are provided, which include wide-flight intermediate screw sections (104) having axial flight widths greater than the flight widths of the inlet and outlet screw sections (102, 106) on opposite sides of the intermediate sections (104). The intermediate sections (104) provide increased friction and shear serving to enhance the SMEs imparted to comestible food materials during processing thereof.

Utilization of a mobile agricultural weighing system to monitor and store ancillary operational data for diagnostic purposes on trailed and truck-mounted equipment
A method of operation of a machine control indicator located on a first machine includes the step of monitoring operational parameters of a second machine operationally associated with a first machine. Each of the operational parameters is associated with a common clock of the machine control indicator. The operational parameters are stored in a memory of the machine control indicator with a date and time stamp based on the common clock. The operational parameters are transmitted along with the date and time stamp to a user device separate from the first machine and the second machine. In one embodiment, the operational parameters comprise one or more of a weight value, a rotation value, a revolutions per minute value, a peak weight value, a gearbox temperature value, and a hydraulic pressure value.
Recording feed mixer rotation rate along with weight of feed and date and time
A method includes the step of receiving a first weight value from a sensor associated with a feed mixer. A first rotation speed associated with the first weight value is monitored. A second weight value is received from the sensor associated with the feed mixer and a second rotation speed associated with the second weight value is monitored. A mixing profile is generated based on the first weight value, the second weight value, the first rotation speed, and the second rotation speed. In one embodiment, a first feed ingredient is associated with the first weight value and a second feed ingredient is associated with the second weight value.
SYSTEM FOR LEVELING PARTICULATE MATERIAL
A particulate material leveling system includes an agitating system disposed within a storage tank for a particulate material. The agitating system includes a drive system and a shaft coupled to the drive system. Further, the drive system drives the shaft to rotate about a central axis. The agitating system also includes a wrapped wire coupled to the shaft. The wrapped wire extends around the shaft along a helical path in an axial direction and a circumferential direction, and the wrapped wire moves the particulate material in the axial direction in response to rotation of the shaft in a first direction about the central axis.
SENSING AND AGITATION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PARTICULATE MATERIAL
A particulate material sensing and agitation control system includes a controller with a memory and a processor, where the controller is configured to receive at least one sensor signal indicative of a measured profile of a particulate material within a storage tank of an agricultural system, determine whether a variation between the measured profile and a target profile is greater than a threshold value, and output a first output signal to a user interface indicative of instructions to inform an operator of a profile variation, output a second signal to an agitating system indicative of activation of the agitating system, or a combination thereof, in response to determining that the variation between the measured profile and the target profile is greater than the threshold value.
Seed treatment method incorporating an incline mixing conveyor
A seed treatment system incorporates an incline conveyor to mix freshly treated seed. A metered seed flow is maintained. A treatment applicator positioned above a tail end of the incline conveyor applies a seed treatment to the metered seed flow to form a treated seed flow. The treated seed flow freefalls into a transition zone and pre-mixes before moving upward within the incline conveyor. An eddy may form within the treated seed flow due to a partial obstruction within the incline conveyor. A prescribed amount of the treated seed flow backflows into the eddy in a cascading manner. Backflow movement may be contrary to conveyance of a substantial amount of the treated seed up through the incline conveyor. The seed treatment distributes about the treated seed flow within the incline conveyor. The treated seed flow discharges with complete cleanout at a head end of the incline conveyor.
