Carbonated beverage makers, methods, and systems
A carbonated beverage maker includes a water reservoir, a carbon dioxide creation chamber, and a carbonation chamber. The water reservoir holds ice water and has a first impeller and a shroud surrounding the first impeller. The carbon dioxide creation chamber contains chemical elements and receives warm water. The chemical elements react with each other to create carbon dioxide when the warm water is introduced to the carbon dioxide creation chamber. The carbonation chamber is connected to the water reservoir and the carbon dioxide creation chamber. The carbonation chamber has a second impeller that includes a stem portion and blades. The stem portion and the blades define conduits therein. The blades create a low pressure region in a lower portion of the carbonation chamber such that carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide creation chamber flows through the conduits to the low pressure region.
Bottle capable of mixing powders and liquids
A bottle includes a base, neck that defines an aperture, and a body. The bottle has at least one indent in the body that projects into an interior of the bottle and extends around at least part of a circumference of the body. This at least one indent is configured to agitate a substance contained in the bottle. For example, the bottle may contain a powder, such as protein powder, and the at least one indent helps mix the powder with a liquid. In an example, two indents are used in the bottle.
Baby formula mixing assembly
A baby formula mixing assembly includes a housing and a control circuit that is coupled to the housing. A liquid reservoir is positioned within the housing to contain the liquid. A formula reservoir is positioned within the housing to contain baby formula. A mixing chute is positioned within the housing to receive a selected amount of baby formula and a selected amount of liquid for mixing together. A pump is positioned within the housing to pump the mixture of baby formula and liquid. A dispensing unit is movably coupled to the housing and the dispensing unit is in fluid communication with the pump. A carousel is rotatably coupled to the housing for sequentially rotating baby bottles to align each of the baby bottles with the dispensing unit to fill the baby bottles with the mixture of formula and liquid.
Adjustable additive cartridge systems
An adjustable additive cartridge that provides adjustable metering of additive to a base fluid as the base fluid is flowing through the cartridge. A spout is mounted for limited rotation within a base element of the cartridge. Rotation of the spout results in varying degrees of flow of additive into a base fluid flow path through the cartridge. The cartridge may be used with a portable beverage container, such as a sports bottle or off-the-shelf water bottle. The supply of base fluid in a container used with the cartridge may be kept in an unmixed, pure state, and other cartridges, each having different additives (i.e., flavors) may be used interchangeably with the same base fluid supply. The cartridge allows a consumer/user to experience different additives, such as different flavors or supplement compositions, for a given supply of base liquid in a single container. A check valve on the cartridge prevents backflow of the base fluid. An integrated filter for filtering base fluid flowing into the cartridge may be provided. The additive cartridge may be sealed to provide for extended storage and to provide a user/consumer with evidence of integrity, quality and/or tampering prior to purchase and/or use. Visual and tactile indicators of the amount of additive being added to a base fluid may be provided. A container may retain a spare additive adjustable cartridge on the container.
French Press Plunger Assembly
A French press rod assembly configured to be operably engaged with a French press coffee pot wherein the French press rod assembly provides an element to engage therewith to stabilize the French press rod assembly during removal of the filter screen. The French press rod assembly includes a shaft having a first end and a second end. A handle is secured to the first end of the shaft and a filter screen is removably secured to the second end of the shaft. The shaft has surroundably mounted thereto proximate the second end an engagement member. A flow member is rotatably secured to the shaft wherein the flow member is intermediate the second end of the shaft and the engagement member. In a preferred embodiment of the flow member, the flow member is rotatably mounted to the shaft and includes a plurality of blades.
INTELLIGENT BLENDING SYSTEM
A blending system includes a blender base and a container. The blender base includes a housing that houses a motor. The container is attachable to the blender base. The blending system includes a user device that communicates with the blender base. The user device may communicate with a remote computing device. The user device generates instructions and recipes for the blender base.
Shaker Bottle Device
The present invention relates to a shaker bottle device that has a body and a lid. The body is further preferably comprised of at least one measuring line that indicates a corresponding amount of liquid or solid volume that is within the body, wherein the line is further highly visible using contrasting colors, fiber-optic, fluorescent, or luminescent paint. The body may also be comprised of a weighted bottom surface that prevents the device from spilling. The body and lid may also have at least one magnet that allows the device to magnetically attach to a metal surface or object to further prevent spilling.
Apparatuses for mixing gases into liquids
A beverage mixing assembly for mixing a gas into a liquid to thereby form a solution includes a mixer body having a first upstream inlet configured to receive the gas, a second upstream inlet configured to receive the liquid, and a downstream outlet configured to dispense the solution from the mixer body. The first upstream inlet defines a first orifice configured to spray the gas into the mixer body and the second upstream inlet defines a second orifice configured to spray the liquid into the mixer body such that the gas collides into the liquid as the liquid conveys from the second upstream inlet to the downstream outlet to thereby mix into the liquid and form the solution.
Agitator for a carbonation system
Various exemplary agitators for a carbonation system, systems including an agitator for a carbonation system, and methods including an agitator for a carbonation system are provided. In general, an agitator is configured to rotate in a chamber to mix together a gas, such as carbon dioxide, and a liquid, such as water, to form a carbonated fluid. The agitator includes a plurality of paddles configured to encourage the mixing of the gas and the fluid by agitating the gas and the liquid during the agitator's rotation. Each of the arms has an angled outer tip to facilitate the efficient mixing. The agitator includes a hollow shaft through which the gas is configured to flow during the agitator's rotation. The agitator can be part of a carbonation system configured to dispense the carbonated fluid as a beverage.
