Arm Support Assembly for Medical Examination Device

An arm support assembly includes an armrest and connecting assembly. The armrest may meet regulatory or industry standards and is maneuverable into a variety of positions, including seated, blood pressure reading, supping or lying, and stowed or patient transfer positions. The armrest may be padded and/or upholstered. The connecting assembly includes first and second joints each selectively rotatable and an elongate member connecting them. The first joint rotatably mounts to the armrest, and the second joint mounts to the side of an examination device such as a table or chair. The joints include a rotary mechanism to engage between locked and unlocked positions, where rotational motion is enabled in unlocked positions. Rotation at first and second joints collectively result in maneuvering the armrest between the various positions.

Leg Extension for Procedure Chair

An extension assembly for a procedure chair leg pad includes a frame and a leg pad assembly. The frame attaches to deployment tracks of the procedure chair through frame arms and includes a slot(s). At least one slot includes detents configured to receive and selectively restrain a guide member. The leg pad assembly is disposed in proximity to the frame and includes a guide member(s) extending therefrom, through a slot and movable relative to the frame. The leg pad assembly may be moved forward and rearward by manual adjustment, moving the guide members through their respective slots. Detents along the slots restrain the guide member at predefined positions until sufficient force is applied to overcome the geometry of the detent. A detent(s) is configured to prevent vertical movement of the leg pad assembly when stowed vertically, but still allow movement in a deployed position.

A foldable massage chair, including a face pillow assembly for supporting a user's head, a chest pillow assembly for supporting the chest, a handrail assembly for supporting wrists, a front support piece, a seat cushion assembly, a main supporting frame, a kneeboard assembly, and back and a front supporting leg assemblies. When using this chair, it is placed in an expanded or use position, so a user may sit on the seat cushion and lean on the massage chair, completely exposing his back, waist, and hips for a masseur to massage. When the chair needs to be put away, it is possible to fold the chair into a collapsed position by folding the seat cushion assembly, front support piece, chest pillow assembly, and handrail assembly. Also, the front and back supporting leg assemblies are folded underneath and towards the main supporting frame. Consequently, the size of the entire chair decreases.

A foldable massage chair, including a face pillow assembly for supporting the head, a chest pillow assembly for supporting the chest, a handrail assembly for supporting wrists, a front support piece, a seat cushion assembly, a back support rod, a kneeboard assembly, a back supporting frame, and a front supporting frame. When a user needs to use this chair, it is placed in an expanded or use position, so the user may sit on the seat cushion and lean on the massage chair, completely exposing his back, waist, and hips for a masseur to massage. When the chair needs to be put away, it is possible to fold down the chair into a collapsed position by folding the seat cushion assembly, front support piece, chest pillow assembly, and handrail assembly. Also, the front supporting frame is folded towards the back supporting frame. Consequently, the size of the entire chair decreases.

MASSAGE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

A massage apparatus includes a base frame; a first seat frame connected to the base frame to be rotatable with respect to the base frame, and including a seat portion on which a user is to be seated; a second seat frame coupled to the first seat frame to be rotatable with respect to the first seat frame, and including a backrest portion; a first driving unit connected to the base frame and the first seat frame to drive the first seat frame to rotate with respect to the base frame; a massage module accommodated in the second seat frame to perform a massage function; and a control unit configured to, upon an execution command for a massage course being input, control the first driving unit to rotate the first seat frame such that a rear side of the first seat frame is raised thereby raising the seat portion.

SEAT POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR A WHEELCHAIR

A seat positioning system includes a base frame having a pair of forward slots and a pair of rear slots, and a seat frame having a front end and a back end. The seat frame is coupled to the base frame and movable relative to the base frame. A first pair of linkages is slideably coupled to the pair of forward slots and connects the frames. A first pair of locking devices has a locked configuration adapted to prevent the first pair of linkages from sliding relative to the pair of forward slots and an unlocked configuration adapted to allow the first pair of linkages to slide relative to the pair of forward slots. A second pair of linkages slideably is coupled to the pair of rear slots and connects the frames. An actuator is pivotally connected to both the seat frame and the base frame and is configured to extend and contract to move the seat frame relative to the base frame.
