A display unit is oriented towards the patient, and displays a dynamically-updated progress bar and percentage value, indicating the actual progress of the ongoing dental treatment. Optionally, the smart dental treatment chair also integrally plays music that the patient selects and controls, sprays an aromatic agent, and provides other benefits to the dental patient.
