A basket apparatus with enhanced strength for use with a water-based pet cremation machine includes a lower basket assembly having an inner compartment formed by a lower frame assembly that constructs a plurality of faces including a front face, a rear face, side faces, and a bottom face, each face having a perforated mesh coupled thereto, at least one divider disposed within the lower basket inner compartment to create a first set of compartments to store pets, an upper basket assembly disposed on the lower basket assembly and having an inner compartment formed by an upper frame assembly that constructs a plurality of faces including a front face, a rear face, side faces and a bottom face, each face having a perforated mesh coupled thereto, and at least one divider disposed within the upper basket inner compartment to create a second set of compartments to store pets.

A coffin is provided, and the coffin includes a coffin body with a top opening and a coffin lid for closing the coffin body. The coffin lid is provided with an air intake hole and an exhaust air hole, the air intake hole and the exhaust air hole are respectively connected to an air intake device and an exhaust air device through pipelines to supply the oxygen required for decomposition of a body and exhaust waste gases. The coffin lid is further provided with an exhaust liquid pipe connected to a peristaltic pump. An oxygen or carbon dioxide sensor, and a hydrogen sulfide or ammonia concentration sensor are installed in an exhaust channel. The coffin body includes a plastic waterproof bag, and the coffin lid is pasted with adhesive plastic film. The function of the plastic waterproof bag is to prevent waste liquids from polluting the coffin body.

One embodiment of a rental casket insert includes a base for receiving a deceased onto an interior surface that includes a lower panel, a first base end panel, a second base end panel, a first base side panel, and a second base side panel, where the base is configured is defined by a base length, a base width, and a base height. The rental casket insert may also include a lid for engaging with the interior surface of the base that includes an upper panel, a first lid end panel, a second lid end pane, a first lid side panel and a second lid side panel, where the lid is defined by a lid length, a lid width, and a lid height, where the lid height is greater than the base height, and where the lid includes at least one detachable portion, wherein the at least one detachable portion is configured as a perforated section for removal to allow coupling of the lid with the base when a deceased is disposed in the base against the interior surface.
