BIODEGRADABLE COFFIN ASSEMBLY
A coffin for use in the containment and storage of a human or animal corpse. The coffin comprises; a tubular housing comprising a wall defining an internal space; the wall formed from a cellulose fibre material and capable of retaining the corpse in the internal space. The coffin further comprises a part which receives and retains a body when in use. The invention is essentially a cylindrical, tubular form, to form a receptacle to serve as a cremation/burial vessel, free of corners, angles and sharp edges and manufactured from a biodegradable material. The invention contemplates use of screwspreferably stainless steel to secure those elements such as the end walls which require releasable fixation. One suitable non-toxic biodegradable material is recycled cellulose fibre such as cardboard or used paper products. Other materials used in construction of the invention include, plantation timber framing, plywood end closures, screw fixation, water based adhesive as required, nontoxic water based paint, and quantities of water based craft adhesive.
Casket assembly
A casket assembly includes a base and a first side panel and a second side panel configured to be partially received within the base. The casket assembly also includes a first rail fixedly coupled to an inside of the first side panel and a second rail fixedly coupled to an inside of the second side panel. The casket assembly further includes a lid configured to be supported by the first rail and the second rail. The first side panel forms at least a first portion of a head end of the casket assembly and a first side of the casket assembly. The second side panel forms at least a first portion of the foot end of the casket assembly, and a second side of the casket assembly.
Flat-pack container
Embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise pieces necessary to assemble a container for a deceased individual. The pieces may fit together in such a way as to minimize storage footprint and transportation costs. The pieces may be comprised of different types of materials including, but not limited to and different wood grain colors, and different interior dressings. Embodiments of the present disclosure may incorporate designs for reasons such as style preference or religious symbols. Further, the design of the present disclosure may vary in shape and dimensions to accommodate differently-sized individuals. Embodiments of the present disclosure may be assembled quickly and without special tools.
Collapsible Casket with Reduced Shipping and/or Storage Footprint and Shipment Package
A shipment package includes container blanks and lid blanks. Each container blank has a first length and is foldable into a casket container. Each container blank has first and second folded over ends. The container blanks are stacked such that the first folded over ends of the plurality of container blanks are at least partially aligned, and such that the second folded over ends of the plurality of container blanks are at least partially aligned. Each lid blank is foldable into a casket lid having at least approximately the first length, and is configured to cover an interior of the casket container. Each lid blank is folded over a widthwise fold line such that the lid blank has a length less than the first length. A first lid blank is disposed between two container blanks, and between folded over ends of one of the container blanks.
Biodegradable urn planting system
The biodegradable urn planting system, also called a LIVING URN, is an apparatus capable of rapid degradation in soil that the user can fill with cremated remains, a pH neutralizing and sodium diluting material, soil, planting mix, wood chips, and a living plant (seedling or bare root stock). When one loses a loved one, it is often difficult to discern what to do with the remains (be they human or animal). Many towns and cities do not allow for burial, and storage of cremated remains can be problematic. The present invention seeks to provide a meaningful and tangible way for one to remember the loved one when the cremated remains are buried with a seedling that may be drop shipped and is appropriate for the environment of use. Thus, the seedling grows into a tree, providing comfort and a reminder of the deceased.
Rubber coating
Rubber Coating casket liner will be fitted within the perimeter of the inside of the casket (10). The Rubber Coating casket tray will be placed on the slab of a mausoleum and the casket will rest inside the perimeter of the tray (18). The Rubber Coating liquid will be used as a filler and a sealant. The spray will be used to seal the outside of the concrete burial vault (20), from water entering inside. The coating spray used in the inside will prevent decomposed human body fluids from escaping out of the vault into the ground.
Casket ornament attachment mechanism
A casket comprises a casket shell, a casket lid closeable on the shell, at least one keyhole groove in the shell, a medallion casket ornament having a rear side, the ornament including at least one magnet mounted on the rear side, and an adapter plate having at least one rearward facing fastener with a head thereon and having a forward facing annular magnetic plate. The adapter plate is removably secured to the shell by inserting the head of the fastener in the keyhole groove and seating the head of the fastener in the keyhole groove. The ornament is removably secured to the shell by positioning the at least one magnet of the ornament on the annular magnetic plate. The ornament is plumbed by rotating the ornament relative to the adapter plate until the ornament is plumb.
