Methods of Controlling Shutdown of Reactor Systems
Controlling the shutdown of a polyethylene reactor system that includes a secondary compressor, a reactor, a high pressure let down valve (HPLDV), a high-pressure separator, and a high-pressure recycle gas system is provided. After a partial or complete shutdown of secondary compressor, HPLDV opens to a pre-set open position until the reactor pressure reduces to either a pre-set reduced pressure limit or a until the slope of the reactor gas density to reactor pressure exceeds 0.15. The HPLDV controls the pressure to a pressure set point.
SAFE INERTIZATION APPARATUS
The invention relates to an inertization apparatus for inerting a working volume in a chemical production plant by flushing with inert gas, where the chemical production plant comprises a plant-wide inert gas distribution system having pipes for distributing the inert gas and at least one inert gas offtake position which can be connected to a connecting conduit. According to the invention, it is provided that the connecting conduit between inertization apparatus and working volume is connected, at its end nearest the working volume, in a not reversibly detachable manner to an intermediate piece, where the intermediate piece can be connected in a reversibly detachable manner to a counterpiece provided on the working volume.

METHOD FOR PREPARING SUCROSE-6-ESTER
Provided is a method for preparing a sucrose-6-ester, including: preparing a reaction solution of sucrose and an organo-tin compound; atomizing the reaction solution to form droplets; thoroughly mixing and contacting the droplets with a gasified dehydration medium such that the droplets undergo a dehydration reaction to obtain an intermediate mixture containing sucrose organic tin ester droplets; separating the intermediate mixture to obtain a sucrose organic tin ester solution and a dehydrated gas-liquid mixture; recovering the sucrose organic tin ester solution obtained in the separation step and cycling to the atomization and dehydration steps several times; and subjecting an organic acid anhydride to an acylation reaction with the sucrose organic tin ester solution to obtain the sucrose-6-ester.
