Fouling prevention method and method for olefin oligomerization
The present invention provides a fouling prevention method and a method for olefin oligomerization, wherein in the method for olefin oligomerization, a predetermined anti-fouling agent is added, thereby minimizing the production of sticking byproducts generated during the reaction and fundamentally preventing the fouling of the byproducts, generated during the reaction, on an inner wall of a reactor.
Integrated production of urea for diesel exhaust fluid and urea ammonium nitrate
Disclosed is a method for the integrated production of two different urea products. One is an aqueous urea solution suitable for use in NOx abatement (generally indicated as Diesel Exhaust Fluid—DEF). The other is a solution used as a fertilizer, viz. Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN). The production of DEF and UAN are integrated as follows: ammonia recovered from the production of urea is used as a feed to the production of ammonium nitrate. At least part of an aqueous urea stream from urea prodution, is mixed with ammonium nitrate so as to obtain UAN.
Flow reactor
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a flow reactor that can ensure safety even if leakage occurs at the connections of the lines. The flow reactor of the present invention is characterized by including one or more line structures, each of the line structures including a raw material feeding line, a reactor unit to react a raw material fed from the raw material feeding line, and a discharge line to discharge a reaction product produced in the reactor unit, wherein the flow reactor includes a vessel in which part or all of the reactor unit and a fluid are accommodated to be capable of being in contact with each other, wherein each of the line structures includes two or more attachable and detachable connections, and wherein at least one of the attachable and detachable connections is accommodated in the vessel.
System and method for monitoring and controlling a polymerization system
The present disclosure relates generally to a system having a reactor system with a polymerization reactor and a feed system fluidly coupled to a feed inlet of the reactor. The feed system supplies components to the reactor via the feed inlet, and the reactor has a flow path that continuously conveys the components through the reactor and subjects the components to polymerization conditions to produce a polymer. The system also has an analysis system coupled to the reactor for online monitoring of a particle size of the polymer. Further, the system includes a control system, coupled to the analysis and feed systems, that receives a signal from the analysis system indicative of the monitored particle size of the polymer and adjusts an operating parameter of the feed system to control a flow rate of at least one of the components to the reactor based at least on the signal.
Catalytic Reactor System Treatment Processes
There are provided methods of treating a catalyst-containing reactor system with a liquid solvent to remove contaminants from the reactor system. An exemplary method includes the steps of: isolating the reactor system to be treated from upstream and downstream equipment; reducing the temperature and pressure of the isolated reactor system by flushing with a hydrogen rich gas; injecting a non-aqueous liquid solvent into the reactor system at an injection point while continuously flowing hydrogen-rich gas through the reactor system; maintaining the solvent in a liquid state while flowing the solvent continuously through the reactor system; and terminating the step of injecting solvent and terminating the continuous flowing of hydrogen-rich gas. The exemplary method is free of the injecting of a carrier gas into the reactor system comprising alkanes selected from the methane, ethane, propane, butane and pentane.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING MOISTURE LEAKS OR MOISTURE INGRESS
A system and method for detecting moisture leaks or moisture ingress into industrial processes by using a probe to determine the presence of condensing process gasses, the probe being configured to improve the probe's ability to reduce the leakage of the gas stream being probed.
METHOD FOR QUENCHING PEROXYCARBOXYLIC ACID RUNAWAY REACTIONS
Systems for quenching peroxycarboxylic acid and peroxide chemistry runaway reactions provide safe and efficacious systems to prevent uncontrolled runaway reactions, such as decomposition reactions, of peroxycarboxylic acid and peroxide chemistry compositions are disclosed. The systems provide prompt detection and dispensing of a stabilizer into a tank or other storage vessel containing a peroxide composition, peroxycarboxylic acid composition or a peroxycarboxylic acid-forming composition to stop a runaway reaction. Methods for quenching peroxide and peroxycarboxylic acid runaway reactions are also disclosed.
PROCESS AND A PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF METHANOL
A process for the production of methanol from synthesis gas via an equilibrium reaction is conducted in a methanol preconverter within a certain operational window, said operational window being defined by the area below an approximately linear curve of the partial pressure of carbon monoxide vs. the boiling water temperature for water temperatures between 210 and 270° C. Methanol of different product grades may be obtained by operating in specific areas of the operational window.
Advanced steam cracking
A process and system that use the heat produced in the generation of Syngas to provide heat to an endothermic reaction zone are disclosed. A method for providing heat to an endothermic reaction may comprise producing Syngas in a reforming reactor. The method may further comprise recovering heat from the producing the Syngas to heat an endothermic reaction stream in a heat transfer zone. The method may further comprise allowing reactants in the endothermic reaction stream to react to form an endothermic reaction product stream. The method may further comprise withdrawing the endothermic reaction product stream from the heat transfer zone.
INTERMEDIATE GAS CONCENTRATION-REGULATING PISTON PRESSURE DEVICE FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE AUTOCLAVE AND GAS DISTRIBUTION METHOD
A piston pressure device includes a gas concentration-regulating piston pressure device and a high temperature autoclave. In the gas concentration-regulating piston pressure device, the proportion and concentration of corrosive gases can be accurately adjusted, intermediate gases can be stored and filled into the high temperature autoclave according to experimental needs, and an actual corrosion process in oilfield is accurately simulated. Meanwhile, the corrosive gases can be supplemented in real time during the experiment, and dynamic gas distribution in a high-temperature high-pressure corrosion experiment process is realized.
