A casket lid includes a lid body that extends partially over a casket body configured to receive a human body in supine position, the lid body having a first side configured to extend along a portion of a first casket body side, a second side configured to extend along a portion of a second casket body side, a first end configured to extend along a first casket body end, and an open end. A skirt assembly includes a substrate having a top edge, and further includes at least one sheet of flexible material affixed to and extending over the top edge and downward from the substrate. The sheet of flexible material extends to or below a vertical level of a lowest portion of at least one of the first side and the second side.

Lightweight casket lid having enhanced biodegradability
A casket arrangement includes a container having a bottom, first and second side walls, and first and second end walls forming an open top box having a length and width configured to receive a deceased human body in supine position. The walls and bottom are formed of biodegradable material. The arrangement further includes a rigid strip operably coupled to the first side wall and disposed between an interior of the container and the first side wall. The arrangement further includes a strap handle having a first end portion, a second end portion, and an intermediate portion. The end portions are affixed to the rigid strip. The intermediate portion extends from each end portion through at least one opening in the first side wall, such that the intermediate portion forms a flexible loop external to the container that is sized to receive a human hand for use as a handle.
Biodegradable and incineratable funeral casket with frame covered by natural fabrics
The present invention relates to a coffin with a lower side and an upper side. Said coffin comprises a structure and an inner lid, where the structure includes a first frame located on the lower side of the coffin, a second frame located on the upper side of the coffin, a plurality of ribs connected to the first frame, protruding towards the upper side, and connecting the second frame with said first frame, and a covering surface connected to the ribs. In turn, the inner lid has an arcuate shape and is arranged on an inner side of the second frame, where the ends of the inner lid arcuate shape lay on the ribs of the structure. Moreover, in some embodiments of the invention the coffin comprises at least one retractable handle arranged on the cover surface. Said handle can comprise a handgrip, a lanyard connected to the handgrip and to the first frame; and an elastic element connected to the cover surface and coupled to the lanyard. The elastic element is set up to exert an elastic force on the lanyard that allows for the handgrip to be drawn towards the cover surface.

The present invention relates to a coffin with a lower side and an upper side. Said coffin comprises a structure and an inner lid, where the structure includes a first frame located on the lower side of the coffin, a second frame located on the upper side of the coffin, a plurality of ribs connected to the first frame, protruding towards the upper side, and connecting the second frame with said first frame, and a covering surface connected to the ribs. In turn, the inner lid has an arcuate shape and is arranged on an inner side of the second frame, where the ends of the inner lid arcuate shape lay on the ribs of the structure. Moreover, in some embodiments of the invention the coffin comprises at least one retractable handle arranged on the cover surface. Said handle can comprise a handgrip, a lanyard connected to the handgrip and to the first frame; and an elastic element connected to the cover surface and coupled to the lanyard. The elastic element is set up to exert an elastic force on the lanyard that allows for the handgrip to be drawn towards the cover surface.
Funeral Service Container
A funeral service container includes a reusable casket and a hingedly connected lid, a box sized to be received therein, and a reusable circumferential frame that spans and surrounds the corresponding upper edges of the outer casket and the inner box, thereby to enable the casket and box to resemble the appearance of a decorative casket during a funeral ceremony or service. The frame includes cutout regions to accommodate the lid of the casket, and the frame also includes a decorative cover to further conceal the separateness of the casket and the box during use.

A funeral service container includes a reusable casket and a hingedly connected lid, a box sized to be received therein, and a reusable circumferential frame that spans and surrounds the corresponding upper edges of the outer casket and the inner box, thereby to enable the casket and box to resemble the appearance of a decorative casket during a funeral ceremony or service. The frame includes cutout regions to accommodate the lid of the casket, and the frame also includes a decorative cover to further conceal the separateness of the casket and the box during use.

A burial vault assembly for vertically stacking decedents in a cemetery includes a vault that has a plurality of stacking channels structurally integrated into the vault. The vault is buried beneath the ground having the plurality of stacking channels being vertically oriented. A plurality of caskets is each stackable in a respective one of the plurality of stacking channels in the burial vault to facilitate the decedent in each of the plurality of caskets to be buried. A plurality of casket lids is each attachable to a respective one of the plurality of caskets for closing the respective casket. A plurality of vault lids is each positionable over a respective one of the plurality of stacking channels in the vault for closing the respective stacking channel.
