DEVICE FOR IMPROVING CHILDREN'S ATTENTION TO URINATION
A device for improving children's attention to urination includes a streamlined shell; a light module including a liquid sensor and a control unit and a plurality of light sources, the liquid sensor and the control unit and the plurality of light sources are connected one-by-one, the liquid sensor and the light sources are mounted on the surface of the streamlined shell, the control unit is mounted inside the streamlined shell; a power supply module mounted in the streamlined shell and used for supplying power to the light module. It can effectively increase children's attention to urination, keep children focusing on urinating in the liquid draining tray for lighting up more light sources or making sound. It can effectively prevent children from spilling urine out of the potty.
INTELLIGENT AUTONOMOUS PATIENT ROUTING FOR SCANS
The present invention relates to patient routing. In order to provide a more efficient patient flow for autonomous image acquisition, a method is provided for controlling a patient transfer apparatus within a healthcare facility. The method comprises the following steps: providing a routing information for transferring the patient transfer apparatus to a required location; controlling the patient transfer apparatus to move on a first guided path according to the provided routing information; detecting at least one of a vital sign and an abnormal movement of the patient during a transit of the patient transfer apparatus; evaluating a patient condition based on at least one of the detected vital sign and the detected abnormal movement of the patient; updating the routing information in response to the evaluated patient condition, if the evaluated patient condition meets a predefined criterion; and controlling the patient transfer apparatus to move on a second guided path according to the updated routing information during the transit of the patient transfer apparatus.
Monitoring methods for medical beds
There is described methods of monitoring a patient on a bed. An exemplary method includes receiving one or more sensory outputs from sensors associated with the bed, analysing the one or more sensory outputs and determining a plurality of features of the patient therefrom, and receiving the plurality of patient features and determining a health assessment by inputting the patient features into a statistical model.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR TELE-SURGICAL TABLE REGISTRATION
A surgical robotic system may comprise a manipulator assembly including a manipulator arm having a distal portion. The surgical robotic system may also comprise a registration device mounted to a surgical table. The table mounted registration device includes a registration element shaped to contact with the distal portion of the manipulator arm by receiving the distal portion of the manipulator arm to define a spatial relationship between the manipulator assembly and the table mounted registration device. The distal portion of the manipulator arm moves in a plurality of degrees of freedom. The plurality of degrees of freedom is reduced by the table mounted registration device when the table mounted registration device is in contact with the distal portion of the manipulator arm. The surgical robotic system may also comprise a control system that determines the spatial relationship between the manipulator assembly and the table mounted registration device.
SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING FALLS FROM A BED
System for preventing a patient from falling from a bed, the system comprising first and second protective side barriers adapted to be positioned along first and second side edges of the bed, respectively, and are configured to be lifted or lowered by varying the height thereof from minimum to maximum height. The system includes anchoring means for fixing the protective side barriers to a bed frame, sensors adapted to detect the position taken by the patient on a mattress of the bed, and a control unit configured to receive data collected by the sensors and, on the basis of the data, determine in real time a lifting or lowering of a predetermined extent of the protective side barriers, up to heights of the protective side barriers ranging between the minimum and the maximum height, depending on the position taken by the patient on the mattress.
Patient Transport Apparatus With Controlled Auxiliary Wheel Speed
A patient transport apparatus transports a patient over a floor surface. The patient transport apparatus comprises a base and support wheels coupled to the base. An auxiliary wheel is coupled to the base to influence motion of the patient transport apparatus over the floor surface to assist users. A wheel drive system is operatively coupled to the auxiliary wheel to rotate the auxiliary wheel relative to the base at a rotational speed. A throttle assembly having a throttle operably coupled to the actuator. The throttle is movable in a first position, a second position, and intermediate positions between the first and second positions. The rotational speed of the auxiliary wheel changes in a non-linear manner with respect to movement of the throttle.
MATTRESS, SENSOR SYSTEM
A mattress including: an elastic body; a sheet that is disposed at least above the elastic body and made of any of a conductive sheet and a conductive fiber; and a measurement unit that is configured to measure a change of capacitance of the sheet observed when the elastic body is deformed.
WHEELCHAIR SYSTEMS AND METHODS ENABLING FINE MANUAL MOTION CONTROL
Systems and methods of wheelchair systems enabling fine manual motion control are disclosed. In one embodiment, a wheelchair system includes a wheelchair. The wheelchair includes one or more wheels, at least one actuator coupled to the one or more wheels, a processing device, and a non-transitory, processor-readable storage medium in communication with the processing device. The non-transitory, processor-readable storage medium includes one or more programming instructions that, when executed, cause the processing device to determine a wheel torque on the one or more wheels, determine a compensation value, and actuate the at least one actuator applying the compensation value to the one or more wheels to remove at least a portion of the wheel torque such that less external force is required to physically move the powered wheelchair than when the compensation value is not applied.
MOBILITY ASSIST APPARATUS AND METHOD
A system, method, and apparatus to provide mobility assistance to disabled persons. The invention includes a self-driving electric cart for transporting a blind or other disabled person along a pre-defined route defined by a path of magnetic markers. The magnetic markers interact through radio waves with a control mechanism on the cart. Utilizing the present invention, the blind person could touch a button on a pre-programmed control screen and ride safely in self-driving carts to any of several specific destinations, such as a job site, grocery store, relative's home, etc.
Adjustable height wheelchair
A powered wheelchair comprises a frame and an arm assembly that includes an arm that is pivotably coupled to the frame. The arm assembly includes a wheel coupled to the arm. A drive system is coupled to the arm assembly and configured to drive a drive wheel. An arm limiter is pivotably coupled to the suspension and coupled to one or more of the arm assembly and the drive system in an engaged position. The arm limiter is configured to limit movement of the arm assembly in the engaged position.
