Controlled environment enclosure with built-in sterilization/pasteurization functionality
A controlled environment enclosure features a heating and cooling system and a control system linked to the heating and cooling system for control of same. The control system being operable to switch between an environmental control mode for achieving user-prescribed environmental conditions within the interior space and a sterilization/pasteurization mode for heating contents of the internal space to values within a range sufficiently elevated above the prescribed environmental conditions to sterilize/pasteurize said contents of the internal space. The built-in sterilization/pasteurization function reduces or eliminates the need for personnel to physically wash down the interior space of the enclosure with cleaning chemicals.
Growing System
A growing room for providing a controlled growing environment comprises a thermally insulated, light-transmissive inner enclosure (8) for containing the controlled growing environment (4). The inner enclosure 8 encloses, in use, a controlled atmosphere for the controlled growing environment (4). A light-transmissive outer enclosure 6 surrounds the inner enclosure (8) and is arranged to protect the inner enclosure (8) from the external environment, in use. A ventilated cavity (10) is defined between the out er enclosure (6) and inner enclosure (8). The outer enclosure (6) has at least one lower ventilation opening (11) and at least one upper ventilation opening (12) for allowing controlled ventilation of the ventilated cavity (10). A radiation control layer is located in the ventilated cavity (10) between the outer enclosure (6) and the inner enclosure (8) and is arranged to provide controlled absorption of incident solar radiation, whereby to control the level of solar radiation within the controlled growing environment (4).
Weed Blocking Mini Conservatory
The Weed Blocking Mini Conservatory is a device which blocks weed, plant, root, and some predator encroachment. When connected to the light penetrating top, the invention allows a protected area for photosynthesis, seed and rooting cultures, with containers, mediums, and associated accessories and garden storage. The device functions as a hollow, washable, durable container in which both living and nonliving items can be enclosed. Its structure blends harmoniously with architecture and outdoor environments. It is safe for use around humans and pets. It is also adaptable to large scale garden use.
Greenhouse and forced greenhouse climate control system and method
A greenhouse is disclosed that generally comprises an enclosed growing section with an enclosed end gable adjacent to the growing section. The end gable is arranged to flow air into the growing section. Air distribution tubes are included within the growing section with the tubes arranged to provide for substantially uniform air flow into the growing section. The air tubes can also be arranged to compensate for heat differential between the air in the tubes and in the growing section.

LIQUID SUPPLY OF A BLOCK STORAGE ELEMENT
Block storage element and method for supplying liquid to a block storage element. The block storage clement has an overflow and the method includes introducing the liquid into an overflow distributor with a distributor limit. The liquid is throttled by at least one passageway arranged in the distributor limit and gets into a tub area of the block storage element, and the liquid that is not drained by way of the at least one passageway is discharged via. the overflow.

GREENHOUSE SYSTEM
A method for operating a greenhouse system with block storage, at least one block storage element and at least one vehicle. Growth conditions for plants are to be improved. To this end, each block storage element has a carrier frame and a plant receptacle, the plant receptacle being detachably engaged with the carrier frame, the block storage having at least one first zone and one second zone, and at least one first carrier frame and at least one second carrier frame, the plant receptacle in the first zone being detachably engaged with the first carrier frame; and the plant receptacle being subsequently transferred into the second zone, the plant receptacle being transferred from the first carrier frame to the second carrier frame within the framework of transferal from the first zone into the second zone, the plant receptacle in the second zone being detachably engaged with the second carrier frame.
