MODIFIED PHOSPHORS AND COMPOSITIONS THEREOF
A modified phosphor is described comprising phosphor particles and at least one amphiphilic agent. Compositions comprising the modified phosphor and at least one polymer are also described.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STABILIZING CONTAINERIZED PLANTS
A method and system for supporting containerized plants in an upright and stationary position and at customizable, uniform spacing therebetween. The system comprises a frame, pockets, stabilizers positioned within the pockets and spacers. The pockets, stabilizers and spacers provide both horizontal and vertical support to each containerized plant, holding it securely in place without stakes or cables. The pockets with stabilizers and the spacers may be arranged in various patterns to promote stability of the system and health of the containerized plants. An irrigation system may be coupled to the system for maintaining and nourishing plants. The length of the frame is greater than the width, thus creating a stable environment to combat winds and disruptive forces. Individual frames may be attached to form designated and defined uniform growing or display areas and provide greater stability.
MULTILAYER PLASTIC FILM FOR AGRICULTURAL USE
The present invention relates to the technical field of agricultural films and in particular refers to a multilayer plastic film for agricultural applications comprising light-emission shifting properties. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of the multilayer plastic film for, in particular perennial, agricultural applications.
Building assembly for greenhouses and other buildings
This disclosure relates to a building assembly including a first upright, a first pivot mechanism, a second pivot mechanism, a first structure, and a second structure. The first upright is pivotally movable with the first pivot mechanism relative to the first structure. The first upright is also pivotally movable with the second pivot mechanism relative to the second structure.
Greenhouse
Greenhouse, comprising a substantially airtight enclosure having an interior space, comprising a crop space in which crops are to be grown, and a climate control chamber configured to control a climate in the crop space, comprising at least one air inlet opening and at least one air outlet opening through which an interior of the chamber is in fluid communication with the crop space, an air displacement means configured to create an air flow from the crop space to the interior of the chamber through the at least one air inlet opening, and from the interior of the chamber to the crop space through the at least one air outlet opening, and an air conditioning means configured to condition air in the interior of the chamber such that a conditioned climate is created in the interior of the chamber, wherein the climate control chamber is configured and located relative to the crop space such that the at least one air inlet opening and the at least one air outlet opening of the climate control chamber are distributed across the crop space such that the chamber both receives and delivers air from and to the crop space, respectively, locally at a plurality of locations distributed across the crop space, and wherein the climate control chamber comprises one or more climate control chambers.
OPENABLE VINYL FIXING DEVICE AND VINYL GREENHOUSE INCLUDING SAME
The present invention relates to an openable vinyl fixing device and a vinyl greenhouse. The openable vinyl fixing device enables easy opening and closing of an openable window formed on a roof. In contrast with the conventional fixed idea that when a vinyl opening operator (opener) is positioned at the lowermost end of vinyl, a vinyl supporting pipe does not completely unwind vinyl of a vinyl window, but slightly winds the vinyl, and the vinyl supporting pipe is positioned at the outer portion of the vinyl window, the present invention enables the vinyl to be completely unwound by rotating the vinyl supporting pipe a little bit more when closing the vinyl window, wherein the vinyl supporting pipe is positioned between an arc frame and the vinyl of the vinyl window to thereby form a space, and the vinyl supporting pipe is fixed in the space by means of the openable vinyl fixing device.
METHOD OF AND BUILDING FOR GROWING PLANTS
A method of growing plants comprising determining preferential light wavelengths for promoting growth of a plant. The method further comprises constructing one or more light filtering panels arranged to filter natural sunlight or artificial light to produce filtered light comprising the preferential wavelengths. In addition, the method comprises locating one or more plants in a structure constructed at least in part from one or more of the panels. The method also comprises illuminating the structure from outside with natural sunlight or artificial light to pass through the one or more panels and produce the filtered light wherein the filtered light is directed to radiate the plants.
Carbon Negative System
Carbon dioxide molecules can be fixed by growing plants through plant photosynthesis. When the photons that cause the plant synthesis are properly tuned to enhance plant photosynthesis and are generated by a combination of a solar panel of carbon footprint below a threshold and a LED light source of carbon footprint below a threshold and conversion efficiency above a threshold, more CO.sub.2 molecule will be fix by the plant photosynthesis than emitted by the system.
INDEXING PLANTS IN TWO-DIMENSIONAL AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE IN A CONTROLLED GROWING ENVIRONMENT
A crop production system for a controlled plant growing environment is provided. A first assembly comprises a first sub-assembly that itself comprises a first plurality of arms radiating outward from a central portion, wherein each arm is separated from two adjacent arms of the first plurality of arms by respective angles, each arm has a first end proximal to the central portion and a second end distal to the central portion, and each arm is configured to support a plurality of plant growth modules. The plurality of plant growth modules may be moved in a first direction miming from the first end to the second end of each arm of the first plurality of arms.
