PORTABLE PATIENT ISOLATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Respiratory isolation systems and devices for facilitating delivery of respiratory treatments to a patient. The device incudes a housing, a filtration unit, and at least one access port. The housing includes a front panel, a rear panel, one or more side panels, and a top panel that combine to define a chamber. The housing defines an open base that is open to the chamber, and the front panel defines an opening to the chamber. The filtration unit is mounted to the housing and includes a filter in fluid communication with the chamber. The access port is formed through one of the panels and permits user access to the chamber from an exterior of the housing. When connected to an airflow source as part of a respiratory isolation system, negative or positive pressure can continuously be provided to a patient within the chamber.

BRAKING DEVICE FOR OPERATING TABLE BASE
20210322245 · 2021-10-21 ·

The present invention provides a braking device for an operating table base, comprising at least two supporting legs, each supporting leg having a pivoting end and a supporting end distanced from the pivoting end. The operating table base supports an operation bed whose projected area covers the operating table base. The operating table base has a first pivoting portion corresponding to each supporting leg, and each supporting leg has a second pivoting portion at the pivoting end to correspond to the first pivoting portion of the operating table base. The first pivoting portion pivotally connects to the second pivoting portion, so that each supporting leg rotates with respect to the operating table base. The supporting ends of the supporting legs extend a supporting area of the operating table base

A sensor bed pad has a plurality of layers including an outermost layer made of a flexible material and a pair of inner layers, wherein each inner layer has an electrically conductive material thereon. A central layer is positioned between the pair of inner layers, wherein the inner layers are made of cloth, and wherein the central layer has a plurality of openings extending therethrough. The electrical conductive material of one of the inner layers contacts the electrical conductive material of the other inner layer through the openings in the central layer when a force is applied to the sensor bed pad to complete an electrical circuit between the inner layers.

Incontinence detection systems for hospital beds

An incontinence detection system monitors an area for moisture events and wirelessly transmits moisture-related information to one or more notification devices. The system has a pad that includes a substrate and one or more sensors supported by the substrate. The sensor(s) emit wireless signals indicative of the moisture-related information. A sensor event communication system forwards the sensor signals to another device, such as a notification device. Portions of the system are included in a patient support apparatus, such as a bed.

COMMODE WHEELCHAIR
20210315751 · 2021-10-14 ·

Disclosed is a commode wheelchair, though in some implementations the wheels may be omitted. The exemplary implementation of the commode wheelchair is configured to be positioned above a toilet bowl and includes a digital stimulation device used to induce a bowel movement. Through a waste elimination opening in the seat and without assistance from a caregiver, the user may expel their solid waste into the toilet bowl using the digital stimulation device.

Elevated height wheelchair

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a wheelchair configured to reposition an occupant between a lowered and a raised position. The wheelchair can include a frame, a seat moveable relative to the frame, a drive wheel, and one or more pairs of arm assemblies. The arm assembly includes a wheel configured to move from a first spatial location when the wheel chair is operating on flat, level ground to a second spatial location that is different than the first spatial location. Arm limiters that can selectively engage the arm assembly dependent on the position of the arm assembly and surface conditions of ground and can limit the range of motion of the arm assembly and sometimes other operational aspects of the chair.

Fail-safe release mechanism for use with patient positioning support apparati

A fail-safe release mechanism for use with patient positioning support apparati having a base structure and a patient support structure, to prevent collapse of the patient support during disconnection of the patient support structure from the base structure.

Patient support systems and methods of use

A patient support system includes a scale system, an air system, and a lift system. The patient support system also includes a control system configured to graphically communicate information about the scale system, the air system, and the lift system to a user.

Patient Support Systems And Methods For Assisting Caregivers With Patient Care

A patient support system comprises a patient support apparatus for patients. The patient support apparatus also comprises an actuatable device that perform one or more predetermined functions on the patient support apparatus. A controller is provided to control the rate of operation of the actuatable devices based on a user input or a patient condition.

Some functional parts of operating table and operating table

The present disclosure relates to an operating table, the operating table comprising a table top, a table top support and a column with a column head, wherein the sealing device is bellows assembled below the column head, or an adhesive in a hole and/or window on the holder of the cable, or a sealing gasket between the receiver and the column head, or a shield sealingly attached to the column head below the gear. The present disclosure further relates to control equipment, a lifting device, an intelligent charger, a column guide system for an operating table, as well as an operating table including the same.
