Accessory part with clamp fastening
An accessory part for a medical device, such as an operating table or a transport board. Accessory devices may include a first plate for supporting a patient, and a second plate which can be moved relative to the first plate within a predetermined adjustment range. Devices may include a first clamping surface and a second clamping surface at a distance from the first clamping surface, wherein movement of the second plate relative to the first plate causes movement of the second clamping surface relative to the first clamping surface in a direction substantially parallel to a surface of the first or second plate, in order to increase or reduce a clamping force between the accessory part and a suitable holder on the medical device. Methods and medical devices for use with the accessory parts are also disclosed.
RADIOTHERAPY SYSTEM
The disclosure provides a radiotherapy system, comprising: a bed, for supporting the patient; and a bridge, comprising one or more rolling elements for supporting the bed and allowing the bed to be moved along a surface of the bridge. The one or more rolling elements are located at respective fixed positions in the bridge.

An operating table may include: a table on which to place a patient; a base buried or fixed to a floor; and an articulated robotic arm including first end supported on the base and a second end supporting the table, wherein the robotic arm includes at least one vertical joint, and a rotation axis of the vertical joint is positioned along a direction that is horizontal and substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the table.

A robotic operating table according to one or more embodiments may include: a table on which to place a patient; a robotic arm including a plurality of joints, and including a first end supported on a base fixed to a floor, and a second end supporting the table; an operation device including: a move operation receiving unit that receives, from a user, a move operation to move the table, and a register operation receiving unit that receives, from a user, a register operation to register a position of a movement destination of the table and a movement-destination set operation; a memory; and a controller that causes the robotic arm to move the table based on the move operation received by the move operation receiving unit.

A robotic operating table according to one or more embodiments may include: a patient placement table; a robotic arm comprising a plurality of joints, and having a first end supported on a base and a second end supporting the table; and an operation device comprising a preset position registration setting unit that registers an anesthetization position, a surgical operation position, and an imaging position and sets one of the registered anesthetization, surgical operation, and imaging positions as a movement destination of the table, and a move-operation receiving unit that receives, from a user, a move operation to move the table. When the move-operation receiving unit is operated while one of the registered anesthetization, surgical operation, and imaging positions is set as the movement destination of the table, the robotic arm may move the table to the set one of the registered anesthetization, surgical operation, and imaging positions.
BASE MODULE, MEDICAL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATION OF THE MEDICAL SYSTEM
A base module is for a mobile medical system, designed to cover distances autonomously or semi-autonomously. The base module includes a chassis having a plurality of rolling bodies. The rolling bodies are mounted to rotate about axes of rotation and, via adjusting devices, are adjustable in the vertical direction such that each respective rolling body is movable between a first position, in which the respective rolling body is in contact with a floor area, and a second position, in which the respective rolling body is spaced apart from the floor area. A medical system includes a base module of an embodiment. A method for operation of the medical system is also disclosed.
Communication channel
A system for moving a patient into and from a medical apparatus includes a patient support arranged outside a treatment space of a medical apparatus, a treatment table arranged inside the treatment space in the medical apparatus and a patient bed movable in a longitudinal direction from the patient support to the treatment table and back by means of activation of a transferring mechanism. The patient bed is provided with at least a first communication channel for transferring communication signals.
Extendable radiofrequency shield for magnetic resonance imaging device
A radiofrequency (RF) shielding channel for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device is provided. The RF shielding channel can include at least one conductive layer having a proximal end and a distal end. The RF shielding channel can include a connector to removably attach the proximal end of the at least one conductive layer to a bore of the MRI device. The at least one conductive layer can be extended in a longitudinal direction with respect to the bore of the MRI device between a first predetermined longitudinal dimension and a second predetermined longitudinal dimension, such that a RF shield is formed from the bore of the MRI device to the distal end of the at least one conductive layer. The RF shield can prevent an external RF radiation from entering the bore of the MRI device and/or an RF radiation emitted by the MRI device from exiting the bore.

An embodiment is directed to an ambulance vehicle, especially mobile stroke unit. The embodiment of the ambulance vehicle includes a support structure within an interior space of the ambulance vehicle for supporting a cot or stretcher used for transporting the patient. The embodiment of the ambulance vehicle further includes an actuator for tilting the support structure and/or the support structure being at least partially housed in a recess formed in a floor of the interior space.
CT IMAGING APPARATUS
A dental or medical CT imaging apparatus including a first longitudinally extending frame part. A support, construction extends substantially perpendicularly from the longitudinally extending frame part. An X-ray source and an image detector which together form an X-ray imaging assembly are mounted to the support construction. A first driving mechanism is provided to move the X-ray imaging assembly about a virtual or physical rotation axis. A control system having at least one operation mode that simultaneously controls the first driving mechanism and the X-ray imaging assembly is provided. The support construction includes at least one guiding mechanism configured to enable laterally moving at least one of the X-ray source and the image detector in relation to the support construction. A range of the lateral movement of at least one of the X-ray source and the image detector includes a base position and a first and a second extreme position.
