The balance training apparatus includes: a moving cart capable of moving on a moving surface by driving a driving unit; a movement controller configured to drive the driving unit and to move the moving cart in accordance with a predetermined swing pattern; a posture detection sensor that is provided in the moving cart and is configured to detect that disturbance of the state of a trainee who is standing on the moving cart has become outside of a predetermined range; and a difficulty level setting unit configured to instruct the movement controller to change the swing pattern and change the difficulty level of the training that moves the moving cart based on results of detecting the state of the trainee regarding which a notification is sent from the posture detection sensor.

A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.
HARMONIC VIBRATION FITNESS MACHINE CAPABLE OF REALIZING SINGLE PLATFORM DOUBLE AMPLITUDE OPERATION
A harmonic vibration fitness machine includes a base, a platform, a movable plate, a first drive unit and a second drive unit. The first drive unit uses a first motor to drive two first linkages through a first transmission shaft and a reduction gear set, so that the first linkages drive a platform to move up and down. The second drive unit uses a second motor to drive to second linkages through a second transmission shaft and a reduction gear set, so that the second linkages drive the movable plate to move up and down. The movable plate will be linked with the first linkages during the operation process, so that the up and down movement of the platform can be multiplied. So, the harmonic vibration fitness machine can achieve the effect of single platform and double amplitude action.

Systems and methods for exerting forces on a body, including a support structure defining a space and a plurality of surface contacting units that are configured to exert force upon the body, such that the weight is distributed away from the primary weight bearing regions to non-weight bearing regions of the body, or vice versa, without exerting significant shear or frictional forces on surfaces of the body. The systems and methods may be used to exert forces to cause fluid shift in different compartments of the body. Applications include treatment of various disease conditions including pressure ulcers, heart failure, high blood pressure, preeclampsia, osteoporosis, injuries of spine and to slow microgravity-induced bone and muscle loss. The systems and methods may be used to simulate gravity, weightlessness or buoyancy, in rehabilitation medicine. The system may include a chair, bed, a wearable suit or an exoskeleton.
Spine Alignment and Decompression Systems
A system can include a base configured to support a lower half of a human body. The system can also include a headrest elevated relative to the base, wherein the headrest is disposed adjacent to a proximal end of the base, where the headrest is configured to support a head of the human body. The system can further include a back platform having a first end and a second end, where the first end is coupled to the base, where the second end is disposed adjacent to the headrest, and where the back platform has a curvature, where the back platform is configured to support a torso of the human body. The system can also include a vibrating mechanism in communication with the back platform, where vibrations generated by the vibrating mechanism translate to the back platform.
Centrifugal bed rotator
A centrifugal bed rotator is provided. The rotator includes a central pivot base; at least one riding arm attached at one end to the central pivot base; and a drive system attached to one end of the riding arm or the central pivot base drives the rotator with a support board having a wheel attached to the opposite end of the riding arm. The centrifugal bed rotator is useful for hypergravity therapy in health rehabilitation and exercise.
