Sensorimotor discs for infants and babies
In one example, we describe a method and system for infant's development, which is a disc system, with various combinations and extensions. The brain is the only organ that constantly reorganizes itself based on experiences or lack thereof. Babies are born with millions of neurons. Through a process called pruning, certain circuits are fine-tuned through repeated practice and stimulation. This occurs from birth, throughout early childhood. The purpose of the SensiMo Disc is to provide an infant, e.g., typically, up to the 25 lbs. and/or 29 inches long, sensorimotor stimulation, while lying in a prone or supine position, with minimal active movement of the head or extremities. As the child lays supine or proneon, on the SensiMo disc, the child's tactile, vestibular, and proprioceptive systems are stimulated. This helps develop the child's sensorimotor system. Many other variations and combinations, plus advantages, are discussed.
Spine alignment and decompression systems
A system can include a base configured to support a lower half of a human body. The system can also include a headrest elevated relative to the base, wherein the headrest is disposed adjacent to a proximal end of the base, where the headrest is configured to support a head of the human body. The system can further include a back platform having a first end and a second end, where the first end is coupled to the base, where the second end is disposed adjacent to the headrest, and where the back platform has a curvature, where the back platform is configured to support a torso of the human body. The system can also include a vibrating mechanism in communication with the back platform, where vibrations generated by the vibrating mechanism translate to the back platform.
METHOD FOR OPERATING SMART MATTRESS SYSTEM ENABLING ALARM CONTROL
The present invention relates to a method of operating a smart mattress system enabling alarm control, wherein a user is allowed to transition to a light sleep state before an alarm time set by the user. Furthermore, an air mattress and an air pillow interlock with a user terminal so that the user can easily control the air mattress and the air pillow.
System and method for providing massaging within a vehicle
A system and method for providing massaging within a vehicle that include determining at least one position and at least one movement of a driver seated within a seat of the vehicle. The system and method also include determining at least one strenuous driving activity associated with the driver. The system and method additionally include determining at least one tension point associated with the driver. The system and method further include processing a massaging plan that is based on the at least one tension point and controlling at least one massaging element disposed within the seat of the vehicle to provide massaging based on the massaging plan.
Method For Reducing Visceral Body Fat In Humans
A method for reducing visceral body fat in humans involving the steps of a user utilizing a pulsed electromagnetic field generating device for a recommended period of time; the user then laying in an LED therapy bed with a light chamber having an LED array configured to emit multiple wavelengths of light at differing output percentages, the LED array of the LED therapy bed producing a chamber spectrum combination of at least three different light wavelengths for a preferred length of time; and the user then utilizing a vibration platform for a preferred length of time. The method may be achieved through the use of custom designed equipment and methods.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MASSAGING WITHIN A VEHICLE
A system and method for providing massaging within a vehicle that include receiving vehicle dynamic data associated with a real-time dynamic performance of the vehicle as the vehicle is being driven for a predetermined period of time. The system and method also include determining at least one strenuous driving activity associated with a driver of the vehicle based on at least one driving maneuver. The system and method additionally include analyzing positional parameters and movement parameters that are associated with at least one area of a body of the driver that is utilized to conduct the at least one driving maneuver for the predetermined period of time. The system and method further include controlling at least one massaging element disposed within the seat of the vehicle to provide massaging to the at least one area of the body of the driver.
Lighted cup holder for seating arrangements
A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.
THE REPLICATION OR MITIGATION OF LOW FREQUENCY VIBRATION AND OTHER PHYSICAL FACTORS TO ENHANCE THE EFFECT OF THROMBOLYSIS ON PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC STROKE
The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to devices, systems and methods for improving thrombolysis via synergetic application of thrombolytics with physical factors, such as in acute ischemic stroke patients. Vibration in the low (0.5-120 Hz) frequency range is synergistic with tissue plasminogen activators (rtPA), significantly improving the effectiveness of thrombolysis without impairing blood brain barrier permeability. Administration of low frequency vibration combined with rtPA improve acute ischemic stroke outcomes.
Oscillating hospital bed aimed at preventing decubitus ulcer
Oscillating hospital bed that smoothly changes the body support points to vary the effective area of body support on the bed with slow, constant oscillations, in the directions of the width and length of a mattress support, characterized by having sets of drive systems attached to a chassis which supports other components, such as an electric motor, a control panel, a thread vertical shaft, a rotation shaft and noise and vibration absorbing cushions.
BALANCE TRAINING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A training system includes a riding plate, a load sensor, a first center of gravity calculation unit, an image-capturing unit, a second center of gravity estimation unit, and a determination unit. The load sensor detects a load that the riding plate receives from the trainee. The first center of gravity calculation unit calculates a first center of gravity, which is a center of gravity of a load, based on the load detected by the load sensor. The image-capturing unit acquires image data of an image including a posture of the trainee. The second center of gravity estimation unit estimates a second center of gravity, which is a centroid position of the trainee, based on the image data. The determination unit determines that an alert to the trainee should be output based on the difference between the first center of gravity and the second center of gravity.
