The therapeutic pet bed additionally includes a heating layer and a pad, where the pad produces a rest area for the pet. The therapeutic pet bed moreover includes a control, where the control is configured to allow a user to turn on and off the heating layer and the vibration motors.

A massaging chair assembly includes a pad that is positionable on a seat in a vehicle. A plurality of massage units is each integrated into the pad and each of the massage units abuts the user when the user sits on the pad. Each of the massage units orbits about a central point when the massage units are turned on to massage the user. A physical conditioning and therapeutic conditioning system that, when configured and incorporated into the construction of a chair, has a seat, a base configured to rest on a surface, and a seat-support mechanism which is configured to couple the seat to the base and enables the seat, when unlocked in one embodiment, to be pivoted in any direction while rocking in the seat and using one's own body weight for resistance. Ideally the seat-support mechanism permits universal motion in all directions above a vertical axis, including front to back inflection and side-to-side inflection of at least 40° , including 360° of rotation on a universal type joint. The universal type joint is a ball joint consisting of a bearing stud and socket enclosed in a case, with all parts made of steel. In one embodiment, the bearing stud is tapered and fits into a hydraulic post. A ball joint is used to allow free rotation in two planes at the same time.

This patent relates to the field of peripheral sensorimotor stimulation for the relief of symptoms and physical signs of distress including pain and anxiety and more specifically to addiction withdrawal. Peripheral stimulation of mechanoreceptors has been showed in a unique amplitude and frequency range to induce central effects of release of dopamine with a prolonged duration beyond stimulation in a model of addiction. Such stimulation can serve as an effective bridge during withdrawal from known addicting substances, including chemicals and behaviors, thus mitigating symptoms and potentially facilitating the cessation of drugs or substance seeking behavior. Interferential beat frequencies can be induced into the body using separately located sources of vibration to localize maxima and minima of stimulation. A conforming seat consisting of two separately driven halves induces a traveling wave due to interference or formation of beat frequencies which are driven in the therapeutic range to mitigate the symptoms and signs of withdrawal. Further, the beat frequencies can be monitored by a transducer to assure compliance of a treatment regimen and as a trigger pattern for focused exercises.
